About the Astrological Bureau of Ideas
ABOI was founded in 1974 by the co-founder of the Astrological Society of Connecticut, Capel N. McCutcheon. ABOI was well known for producing exceptionally detailed and concise astrological charts. Mr. McCutcheon retired and sold the business to Jeffrey S. Close.
At this point, the astrological chart business was on the wane with most all astrologers choosing to have their own chart calculation software on their own computers. Nonetheless Mr. Close continued in business until 1999. Mr. Close had been concurrently operating the country's leadng telecommunications circuit pricing company, Tri-Quad Enterprises, Incs, famous for the LATTIS circuit pricing software that had come to dominate its market.
In 2000 Mr. Close sold Tri-Quad Enterprises, Inc to Universal Access (UAXS Global Holdings) and devoted full time to developing a new theory of astrology that he had been working on for many years as well as hiring programmers to translate SELF-EVIDENT ASTROLOGY™ into a working innovative software program.
In the summer of 2006 ABOI will re-open to the public with a software package and theory of astrology that will, over time, make dramatic enhancements to astrology as we know it.
