Using The Planetary Aspects by Sign Section
The following section allows you to understand how the signs relate to each other pertaining to the type of planetary aspect a planet in a particular sign is making. As usual, we are focusing on the major aspects.
Take for example, Venus in Capricorn square to Jupiter in Aries.
Find the Aries square Capricorn comparison. Note how very different the basic approaches of these two signs are. Venus in Capricorn might take relationships very seriously. Outward displays of affection do not come naturally and other people often read this tendency as cold and uncaring. This may create situations in which the individual feels left out or misunderstood. However, in this case we have to consider the square from Jupiter. Jupiter in Aries is the outgoing nature inside this individual and encourages the naturally conservative nature of Venus in Capricorn to throw caution to the wind and allow a more spontaneous expression of the person's loving nature. Why? Because, as you learned, squares stimulate the individual to try another approach, especially when one approach is getting to be a bit much.
