Minor Aspects
Here is a list of minor aspects. Even though we are focusing on major aspects, many astrologers believe that a very close minor aspect can have as much impact as major aspect with a wider orb. Some consider them when interpreting charts; others do not. Orbs for minor aspects are usually given an orb of no more than 1 to 1 ½ degrees. The minor aspects most commonly used are the semi-square and the sesqui-square (also known as sesquiquadrate). I personally feel that the semi-sextile and quincunx should be included in the major aspect category, although, you will often find them considered to be minor aspects.
