Note: Most trine and sextile aspects are not interpreted
because they do not present strong challenges and
problems with one's well-being

This report is designed for those who are interested in tools which can support their own efforts toward growth and well-being on all levels. Using astrology, flower essences, gemstones and gem elixirs, color, music, aroma therapy, visualization, and other methods, one can transform difficult patterns in one's life and manifest more of one's positive potentials.

Our emphasis is not so much on eliminating undesirable traits or experiences as on bringing one into balance so that the positive expression of one's astrological signature can manifest. A person who is essentially inward and shy and who has trouble making his way in the world will not become a dynamic, flamboyant world-conqueror, but he can build confidence in reaching out to others. Rather than attempt to get rid of his shyness, the focus would be on discovering the positive gifts his gentleness may offer him and alleviating the more extreme, isolating aspects of his shy nature. Using these "vibrational" tools, issues that one may have struggled with for years can be eased, and long-buried talents and loves can be awakened.

Many of the tools suggested herein, including astrology, work on what esotericists refer to as the energy bodies, the chakras, or the aura. This subtle energy field, which emanates from every living thing, is where our energetic and emotional habits, thought patterns, belief systems, and so on reside. Introducing the energy pattern of a flower, plant, gem, or mineral into one's aura directly affects one's emotional and mental energies, and over a period of time this promotes long-lasting changes.

The key factor in using any of these remedies or tools is one's positive intentions, willingness, and desire for harmony and health. They are not "magic". Used consistently and with conscious intention, they reinforce and accelerate desired changes. In the back of this report is a listing of resources where you can obtain the flower essences and other products suggested for you. There are also other tips and instructions.

As you read over your report you may see a number of areas that you would like to work with. There is a lot of information here and the possibilities can be very exciting! However, it is usually best to attend to one issue or cluster of related issues (a theme) at one time. Choose whichever one is most meaningful or troublesome to you at present. Keep in mind that you will NOT manifest all of the potential imbalances mentioned. Some issues may have already been resolved, and some will simply not be relevant. In deciding which issue to focus on, follow your intuition. Remember, too, that gentle, persistent effort is usually necessary in re-patterning and creating any real change. Best Wishes to You!

Sun and Ascendant: General Characteristics

The position of the Sun in your birth chart represents the person you are at heart and the path you must follow to fulfill yourself as a unique individual. It also indicates your personal strength and vitality, as well as what activities or life experiences you require to feel alive and to replenish your life force. The Sun represents your personal identity.

Sun in Aquarius:

Key issues: Community, humanitarian concerns and social welfare, fulfilling your role in the larger scheme of things, change and breaking precedents.

Key qualities: airy, impersonal idealism; innovative or eccentric; electric; urge to experiment.

You have an innate understanding of interdependence, of how each part effects and contributes to the whole system, and at your finest you are interested in the good of all, not only your own personal progress or well being. You cannot feel fulfilled as an individual if you are not meaningfully contributing to some group (or cause), something larger than yourself. You find yourself replenished and energized by working with others for some common purpose. However you are often more devoted to an abstract concept or ideal than to individuals, and you use your intellect to guide your actions. You may ignore or be aloof from your heart, human feelings, emotional needs and attachments, and other people's as well. You may thus be more suited to brotherhood, sisterhood, comradeship, or friendship than to intimate love.

In some significant way, you break from tradition or conventional norms. You can feel like an outsider, the black sheep, the oddball, or way ahead of your time. Part of your purpose has to do with introducing or supporting innovative change in the world. There is also a touch of the extremist in you, at least a stubborn adherence to doing things in your own peculiar or idiosyncratic way.

Patterns of Imbalance:

For feeling different and socially alienated because of it, rather than cherishing your uniqueness: the flower essences COLUMBINE, MULLEIN, and SHOOTING STAR.

For feeling pressured or overly influenced by peers or social expectations, uncertainty of who you are outside of the group: the flower essence GOLDENROD.

For conflict with figures of authority, and feeling a sense of separation; alienation from the past, ancient spiritual traditions, or elders: the flower essence SAGUARO.

For feeling ungrounded, cut off from the instinctive self or body: the flower essences MANZANITA and CORN.

For more warmth, heart, empathy, and feeling, the flower essences: ALPINE AZALEA, PEONY, MALLOW, and YELLOW STAR TULIP.

For being overly opinionated, willful, intolerant, fanatic, and judgmental: the flower essences VERVAIN and BEECH.

Gemstones which may benefit you to wear, carry, or take as an elixir are:

CLEAR QUARTZ and RUTILATED QUARTZ CRYSTALS, which amplifies your positive intentions and aligns you with higher sources of inspiration.

LARIMAR, for freeing yourself to pursue new, innovative, or unconventional ways of thinking and doing things, especially as these may be related to service or your contribution to life.

BLUE TOPAZ and YELLOW TOPAZ, both of which harmonize and strengthen your creative mental abilities and expansive, clear thought.

Sun Conjunct Venus:

There is a graciousness, sweetness, or charm about the way you do things and express yourself that is quite winning. You are generally well-liked and, if not classically beautiful, quite attractive nevertheless. However, unless other factors in your birth chart indicate personal drive and initiative, you may rely too much on your good looks or personal appeal to get through life, and/or you may be too willing to please for the sake of harmony, even when that is not truly in your best interests. Also, superficial beauty and physical appearances may matter excessively to you. Flower essences that may be beneficial in balancing these tendencies include PRETTY FACE (for vanity or over-identification with your physical appearance), and GOLDENROD (for being true to yourself despite social pressures).

Sun Square Saturn:

You are like the diamond, whose strength and brilliance are the result of being formed under intense pressure: difficulties, deprivation, or a lack of external support compel you to develop your strengths and discover your true nature. You may well have developed self-reliance and the capacity to be responsible for yourself early on, perhaps due to separation or estrangement from your father. Life may thus seem like serious business to you, always an issue of practical survival, with no room for frivolity or joy. Or, your core self (the person you know yourself to be at heart), may have been ignored, rejected, criticized, disparaged, disapproved of. Who you were was not right, or was not good enough. Blockages and wounds to the solar plexus and/or heart centers may have resulted. Symptoms of energy blockages in the solar plexus include low self-esteem, fear of expressing oneself or doubting the value of what you have to offer. The flower essences which work to heal this include: BUTTERCUP (for valuing yourself, appreciating your worth), SELF-HEAL (for restoring confidence and self-healing powers), SUNFLOWER (for low self esteem and conflicts related to how you were fathered) and SAGUARO (for trusting your inner wisdom and authority).

The color bright GOLDEN YELLOW is healing for the solar plexus, as is the elixir of GOLD. Energy work on the solar plexus and heart (such as polarity, Reiki, therapeutic touch, or related therapies) can be very helpful, used alone in conjunction with flower or gem essences.

Suppressed energy around the heart center inhibits one's ability to open to love or to feel loved. Flower remedies intended to heal and expand the heart include ALPINE AZALEA (for opening to the spirit of love and loving oneself), PEONY (for dissolving creative blocks and opening the heart), and ZINNIA (for opening to fun, laughter, joy, child-like playfulness and lightness of heart). One habit that may prevent you from loving and accepting yourself is comparing yourself to a rigid, unattainable, perfectionistic standard. The flower essence PINE is very helpful in softening that attitude. Other flower remedies that may be appropriate for you include: OAK (for feeling that life is a constant struggle) and ORANGE BLOSSOM (to increase hope, joy, and enthusiasm).

Your Ascendant (or Rising Sign) describes your physique, as well as indicating how you relate to and are affected by your environment. It has a direct bearing on your physical health.

Ascendant in Virgo:

Your physique could be described as delicate, sensitive or highly responsive to subtleties. (As such, all of the vibrational remedies mentioned herein and others such as homeopathy, are especially effective for you.) What others may see as your finickiness about food, or the effects of environmental toxins, or your need for a particular type of environment is due to the fact that you register and feel the effects of such things very directly and immediately in your body in ways that others may not. You need to honor and respect what you instinctively know to be good for yourself; otherwise you are apt to be plagued by allergies or simply be much less vital than you could be. Irritability is one signal that you may be ignoring your body-mind-spirit's requirements.

You have a particular affinity with herbs, and learning basic herbal remedies can be invaluable.

One of the psychological factors that can effect your health most directly is your propensity to criticize, dissect, or worry about yourself and your health. When out of balance, you can become hypochondriacal and magnify your symptoms because of your worry. At such times it is essential for you to avoid anything which increases your fear, and seek out reassuring or inspiring company, information, etc. The flower essences FILAREE, MIMULUS, and CRABAPPLE can be most helpful at such times.

Asc. Quincunx Sun:

You feel that your body, your appearances, or the way you come across actually masks your true self. You may also have an inaccurate sense of your own importance, either over or under-estimating your worth. Consider taking the flower essences SUNFLOWER or BUTTERCUP.

Asc. Square Moon:

Your body is very sensitive to everything in your environment, and this effects your emotions as well. You may experience changes in mood, emotional stress, or even digestive problems based on seasonal changes or shifts in your social environment. To ease moodiness, consider taking the flower essences QUEEN OF THE NIGHT, or POMEGRANATE.

Asc. Quincunx Venus:

Your good looks and agreeable manners are apt to win you friends and smooth your path throughout life. You know how to harmonize with and please people. Many things are offered to you, or come easily to you and as a result you may become rather jaded. Vanity, narcissism, and superficial values and relationships are potential deficits. Your health, though, is apt to be good.

Asc. Sextile Saturn:

All of the above mentioned attributes and tendencies, while definitely there, are subdued and perhaps inhibited. At best, you express the most mature aspects of your rising sign, while disciplining and curbing excesses and extremes. You have a more practical, serious, and responsible focus than may have been emphasized above. On the other hand, you may squelch and stifle yourself, and struggle with all of the themes of your rising sign. Flower and garden essences that can be beneficial include: ALPINE AZALEA (which eases self-doubt and encourages self-acceptance). ZINNIA (to relax over-seriousness; encourage playfulness and spontaneity), LARCH (feelings of inferiority hesitancy, expectation of failure are eased), and OKRA (for gloomy outlook; automatic skepticism; inability to see the good).

Moon and Venus: Emotions and Feelings

The position of the Moon in your birth chart reflects your emotional nature, what you need to feel nurtured, what feels familiar and comfortable to you. It is also your deeply-held beliefs and mostly unconscious or instinctive responses, which play themselves out in your closest personal relationships. Your moods, memories, dream life, and feeling-self are depicted by the moon in your birth chart.

Moon in Sagittarius:

Key issues: the need to grow and expand; wanderlust, searching for a "home for the soul".

Key qualities: ever-seeking, restless, adventuresome, emotionally independent, broad sympathies.

Emotionally, you thrive on inspiration, enthusiasm, open-ended adventure and happily dedicating yourself to the pursuit of high ideals or, at least, the good life. You cherish your personal freedom and are loathe to surrender it. You may avoid fully committing yourself to an intimate relationship for fear it will become too limiting, predictable, and uninspiring. Also, due to your idealism, mere mortals may not satisfy you! You do not like to close off any options, any of life's possibilities. You also have a longing for faraway places and a taste for exotic flavors, culture, and customs; you may dream of making your home in a distant land, or of being a gypsy, free to pick up and move when the spirit calls. Even if you settle down in one place, it must be spacious, open to air and light, and give one the impression of grandeur. You enjoy magnificent vistas (even if it's just a travel poster on the wall.)

Your emotional predisposition is generally cheerful, buoyant, and happily expectant, unless you are feeling caged in some way. You may be rather insensitive or unable to empathize with others when their moods are somber, or if they are hurting over something that you believe they should be above. This tendency to try to rise above one's emotions, to elevate the feelings, has benefits but you are also prone to pollyannaism, and your high-mindedness regarding how one "should" feel can make you preachy when you need to be compassionate and deeply understanding. At your best, though, you do lift people up with your warmth, spontaneity, and light touch.

Patterns of Imbalances:

When you are out of balance, you become lazy, disinclined to serious effort or follow through. Or, you become overextended, spread too thin, unable to meet your commitments because you have promised too much. Though over optimism is not considered much of a fault, you can lack realism. The following flower essences and gemstones can be beneficial:

For seeking outside oneself for a "high", and for escapist tendencies: the flower essence CALIFORNIA POPPY.

To stay centered and focused even amidst external activity and stress: the flower essences INDIAN PINK and BUFFALO GOURD.

For not feeling at home on earth, or spirituality that lacks humanity, warmth, and earthiness: the flower essence SHOOTING STAR.

For the "grass is greener elsewhere" syndrome, dreaminess, inability to put down roots: the flower essences SWEET PEA and CLEMATIS.

For inability to translate visions and hopes into concrete action: the flower essence BLACKBERRY. With this you might want to add the flower essence MADIA, to develop concentration, discipline, and focus. WILD OAT can help you decide about life directions.

Gemstones compatible with you include most purple, lavender, or violet colored stones:

SUGILITE, for experiencing beneficent spiritual forces in your life, is a good one.

FIRE OPALS, and FIRE AGATES will increase your inspirational and intuitive gifts.

The position of Venus in your birth chart reveals your capacity for love, intimacy, pleasure, giving and receiving, and relationships. Representing, also, your taste in beauty and your values, it is a key to how you can create harmony within yourself.

Venus in Aquarius:

You have progressive or unconventional ideas about relationship, and may experiment with unusual arrangements with an aim to satisfying emotional needs that perhaps can not be met in more traditional forms of relating. Ideals of true friendship, community, equality, and respect for each individual's freedom color your approach to love, and in truth friendship may well be more instinctive and natural to you than passionate attachment to one other person. In fact you can be peculiarly detached at times. You do not like to admit to any sort of possessiveness or jealousy, and do not like to be possessed.

Your tastes are unusual, with an appreciation for asymmetry, novelty, and deviations from classical forms. You can promote harmony within yourself by cultivating a loving community of friends.

Venus Square Saturn:

In many ways, love, intimacy, and relationship are not easy for you, and you may struggle with loneliness, shyness, social isolation, feeling unlovable, unattractive, or unwanted. Or you may have suffered such losses or pain in love that you fear trusting and opening your heart. If so, your coolness and apparent indifference may well reinforce your aloneness. Insecurities about your ability to keep the affection and loyalty of a lover may compel you to put excessive value on commitment and guarantees in the relationship, perhaps maintaining an essentially joyless or even abusive situation for the sake of "security". However, periods of solitude, and even of deprivation and loneliness, may serve to teach you about your own heart, your deepest values, and how to love and care for yourself, which can lay the foundation for honest, deep, and nourishing relations with others. Thus your mature years are apt to be more gratifying than your youth.

Flower essences that can support the opening and healing of your heart, or resolving thorny issues in relationship, include: CROWN OF THORNS (to help let you go of the belief that love and suffering must go together), BLEEDING HEART (for releasing past heartache), HOLLY (a "master essence" for healing the distortions caused by a lack of love: envy, jealousy, hatred or self-hatred), STICKY MONKEY FLOWER and POISON OAK (for fear of intimacy, unwillingness to be vulnerable), MALLOW (to relax barriers to closeness and trust), PEONY and ALPINE AZALEA (for opening the heart and the spirit of love), COLUMBINE (for self-appreciation and self-love, healing feelings of being alienated and unwanted.).

The gemstones which can be worn or taken as an elixir (combined with any of the above flower essences, or taken alone) include: ROSE QUARTZ, PINK TOURMALINE, and RHODOCHROSITE.

Energy work on the heart and sacral centers can be very helpful, also.

Also includes interpretations for:

Mercury: Thinking and Ideas
Mars: Ambition and Drive

Dear Friend,

This report is about how you can heal your mind and body by being aware of the latent energies in your aura and making the best, most spiritual use of them. Your aura is a field of energy that permeates and surrounds your physical body. It has seven special energy centers within it called chakras. Chakras are vortexes of energy, and they are the places in your aura where divine consciousness can come in and manifest in your physical body, especially if you are receptive to it and use your willpower to allow it to enter.
Your aura also has three channels where the divine energy flows within your aura, and in yoga, these are called the ida, pingala and sushumna. The ida carries the life energy in the left side of your body. The pingala carries it in the right side of your body. The sushumna, which is the most important, carries it in the middle of your spiritual column.
The chakras are the places where the ida, pingala, and sushumna meet together. There is so much energy in these places that the energy whorls around as divine creative potential waiting as an ever-present resource to be manifested into physical form, so that we can bring healing life-force into our daily lives.
To draw upon this infinite source of energy, we can use meditation, prayer, or affirmations. In this way, we transcend our everyday consciousness and become receptive to the healing power within us. There are specific affirmations that can be used to direct the healing force to particular areas of the body. These are contained in Louise Hay’s book "Heal Your Body". Often these affirmations are sufficient to address a particular condition, but sometimes a more specific focus is needed to get the energy to come through. That is because we may have subconscious blocks to allowing the affirmation to work, and these have to be identified and dissolved. The blocks may be present because we have grown up in a culture that asserts mind-body duality, rather than mind-body unity. There may also be blocks because of individual karma from the past or individual lack of recognition of future possibilities. This is where astrology comes in - to identify any blocks you may have and to give you guidance as to how to dissolve them, so that you can become one with the Source and fulfill your divine purpose.
Louise Hay’s book also links the physical conditions and affirmations with particular vertebrae in the spine. This is helpful because the sushumna is located in the middle of your spinal column, and using the most specific affirmation possible should bring the healing light to the part that needs healing. However, if there is a blockage at the unconscious level, it will manifest on the physical level in the form of a blockage in the energy of the physical spine. The tension from this will be observable, as one or more bones in the spine will be out of alignment and there will be various symptoms in the surrounding muscles, organs, or other parts of the body. This report then, is designed to give you insight into the nature of any such blockages that you may be likely to have as an individual. The report also suggests ways of dissolving them and getting your own healing energy flowing. It will still depend on your own willpower whether you choose to use these new insights and how, in order to better your own health.
This report neither diagnoses nor prescribes, but works on the subtler level of the astral aura, as described by astrology, to understand and potentially re-direct the energies before they manifest on the physical level, so that you may be in tune with the higher, spiritual purpose for which the energies are intended rather than have them manifest as any lack of vitality or health.
This report is dedicated to my chiropractor, Dr. John Bjarnason of Toronto, who has greatly assisted me in combining my astral knowledge of my aura with its unblocked, physical manifestation, so that I have been able to enjoy better health

Best Wishes, Lorna Houston Copyright 2005

Chapter 1: The Ascendant

Virgo Rising:

Your outward expression of your Heart Chakra is likely to be a willingness to help in practical ways and to attend to every detail. Your partner is likely to provide a balance for that by being imaginative, creative, and compassionate.

Chapter 2: The Sun

Sun in Aquarius:

Your Sun-sign of Aquarius rules your spinal cord and therefore gives you unusual access to the higher energies in your aura. You are readily able to see how the body, mind and spirit all work together as one. Aquarius also rules your calves and ankles - a part of your body that has very good flexibility of movement, allowing your mind to direct your body to turn in any direction where you decide to step. Aquarian universality is also seen in the fact that Aquarius rules the oxygenation of every cell of your body through deep breathing. In fact, breathing exercises would be very good for your health, to improve your circulation on the physical level and to inhale prana (a subtler form of astral energy) along with the oxygen.

In order for your spinal cord to carry the energy currents within your spine, it is very important that you keep the vertebrae in your spine properly aligned, so that there will be no block to the flow. You also need to maintain a healthy, active heart, so that the oxygen you breathe in can be transported to every cell.

Sun in 6th house:

The Sun rules your Solar Plexus, and its house shows how you bring the energy of this chakra out of this world. Your Solar Plexus gives you self-confidence, and you approach everyday life with the belief of "I can." You apply this in the area of your health, and your positive energy combines with diligent care to inspire others to be healthy too. You are also an excellent employer or employee because of your enthusiasm and hard work.

Sun Sextile Moon:

Here you have an opportunity to harmonize the two very important polarities of the Sun (representing male energy) and the Moon (representing female energy). The resolution of these two polarities is a path to the higher realm of divine unity. You have been born with a vision of this harmony because your relationships tend to be good and your parents got along well. Your Solar Plexus and Spleen Chakra are likely to be healthy.

Sun Conjunct Venus:

The Sun rules your Solar Plexus and Venus your Heart Chakra. Make sure that you assert yourself in your relationships, so that you are not just doing what the other person wants. Make sure that you assert yourself with love, rather than just through your ego. Then your energy will flow beautifully, freely, and artistically.

Sun Square Saturn:

The challenge for you is to be able to express yourself creatively and make a living at the same time. The Sun rules your Solar Plexus and your own identity. Saturn rules your Root Chakra and your sources of stability. In the past, you were somehow separated from your roots, but through your own conscious willpower you can succeed.

Chapter 3: The Moon

Moon in Sagittarius:

You can nurture yourself and others with your very positive, optimistic attitude. You can uplift those who may be blocked by their emotional problems, so that they can see the Divine Light and know that God is working in their lives. To maintain your own high level of inspiration, it is good for you to listen to inspiring lecturers, travel, meditate and do affirmations. It is very easy for you to reach a high state of consciousness, as long as you go to a little bit of effort to turn your attention to the wealth of positive thoughts which you have available to you. Keep your subconscious cleared of any misbelief which may have entered, so that you are emotionally free to be one with the Source.

Moon in 4th house:

The Moon rules your Second or Spleen Chakra, and its house shows how you bring your emotions out into the everyday world. You can always tune in to it and say, "I feel,” because your emotions are a vital part of your being. You express your emotions by caring for children and making sure that they are well nurtured and protected. You enjoy being in your home and creating a happy family life.

Moon Sextile Venus:

You are blessed with many opportunities to make your home a loving, beautiful place. Your marriage is likely to be happy because you are able to express your emotions in a very loving way, and your children are likely to be kind and affectionate. Your Spleen Chakra energy very readily elevates itself to the higher love of your heart.

Moon Opposition Jupiter:

You are faced with the question of how to divide your time between nurturing your own family and giving your time to a religious cause outside of the home. The key is to allow time for each, involve your family in a positive way in the cause, if that is possible, or else direct more of your generosity and benevolence to your own home. Develop the potential of both your Spleen and Brow Chakras.

Chapter 4: Mercury

Mercury in Aquarius:

Mercury rules your Throat Chakra and your communication with others. Aquarius gives you sudden flashes of inspiration, which you are instantly able to convey to others, thereby bringing the Source energy into their lives. You may have a talent for channeling or reading astrology charts in such a way as to bring in the Light. Your messages are on a high intellectual plane and your thoughts and responses very rapid.

Mercury in 6th house:

Mercury co-rules your Throat Chakra, along with Neptune. Its house shows you the areas of life where you are likely to gain information and express your thoughts. It has to do with communication, and can be summarized in the words "I speak." You are very skilled at handling detail and being exacting in your work. You have an organized mind and environment.

Mercury Square Mars:

It is a challenge for you to communicate without sounding too aggressive, but with conscious willpower you are able to apply tact and diplomacy. Mercury rules your Throat Chakra of communication and Mars your Solar Plexus, so the key is to become more detached from your ego, so as not to be argumentative.

Mercury Trine Jupiter:

You have an unusual talent for making speeches about your positive philosophy. You may travel a lot to learn and to spread your ideals to others. You are likely to acquire a good education and to teach others. The chakras ruled by these planets both pertain to particular aspects of your mind - Mercury the logical and communicative functions of your Throat Chakra and Jupiter the positive, perceptive ability of your Brow Chakra.

Mercury Quincunx Uranus:

When you were young, you may have been held back from using your higher genius mind by older people who thought that you should be conforming and mechanistic rather than innovative. However, you can now be adaptable to your new opportunities to get in touch with your higher self through such means as meditation. Focus on keeping your Throat and Crown Chakras open.

Mercury Opposition Pluto:

You need to work out a balance between your desire to communicate and the need to keep certain information secret. Both are valid needs, as Mercury rules communication and your Throat Chakra and Pluto rules secrecy and your Spleen Chakra. You need to be able to open all seven chakras to be healthy.

Chapter 5: Venus

Venus in Aquarius:

Venus rules your Heart Chakra and Aquarius rules the parts of your body which pertain to flexibility and movement such as your ankles, spinal cord, blood circulation, and the rods and cones of your eyes. Your love for others is in the form of being open-minded and flexible towards their many different physical traits and ideas, so that they will feel the unconditional love of the Source. You can enhance your own health by practicing exercises that enhance your physical flexibility and by meditating to bring in the Light and new, inspired ideas.

Venus in 6th house:

Venus rules your Heart Chakra. Its house shows you the areas of life where you give and receive love and compassion. The key words for it are "I love." Your love is expressed in your place of work, where you create beauty and get along well with others.

Venus Square Saturn:

Although it may be a challenge for you to form lasting relationships, you can be successful at this through your self-confidence and willpower. You can express your love for others by providing for their survival, even though this may be hard work. Venus rules your Heart Chakra and Saturn your Root Chakra. You need to improve the flow of energy between the two by cultivating a more positive, happier outlook.

Chapter 6: Mars

Mars in Scorpio:

Mars rules your Solar Plexus Chakra and Scorpio rules your colon and reproduction. You can best maintain your health in these areas by keeping physically active. This will bring in the Source energy from your Solar Plexus and inspire you with self-confidence and vitality. You will be able to get rid of the old and make way for the new, in your body and your mind. You have an unusual ability to bring in courage and willpower in any challenging situation, and this occurs because a challenge inspires you to bring out your deeper, latent strength and get into the flow from the Infinite.

Mars in 3rd house:

Mars co-rules your Solar Plexus Chakra, along with the Sun. Its house shows you the areas of life where you express your initiative, desire, and physical action. The key words for it are "I can." You would apply your strong drive towards acquiring information and communicating it, traveling, and thinking quickly of what actions to take.

Mars Trine Uranus:

You have a special talent for thinking and acting quickly with positive results. Your Solar Plexus and Crown Chakra energies harmonize well with one another, so that your active body and quick mind work as one. You could apply this talent towards responding to emergencies, coming up with new inventions to save work, winning at sports, or promoting new or revolutionary insights.

Mars Square Pluto:

It is a challenge for you to master the very powerful energies that you posses, but you have the willpower to succeed and even to do greater good than most people would be able to. That is because of the very active connection of energy between your Solar Plexus and Spleen Chakra. Whenever you assert your ego, as ruled by Mars, it has a far-reaching, transformative effect, as ruled by Pluto. Make sure that your ego is in harmony with your higher self, so that the result will be intensely positive rather than intensely negative.

Chapter 7: Jupiter

Jupiter in Gemini:

You can benefit greatly from deep breathing exercises, as taught by the advanced yogis. You will find that by inhaling life-giving oxygen and subtler prana, and then exhaling freely and completely, you will reach a state of bliss which goes far beyond physical well-being. Gemini rules inhalation, and Jupiter’s sign of Sagittarius rules exhalation. You would also be a good teacher of breathing exercises, once you have mastered them yourself, and this would bring you good karma.

Jupiter in 10th house:

Jupiter rules your Brow Chakra. Its house shows you the areas of life where you express your spiritual values, positive thinking, and prosperity. The key words for it are "I see." You apply your good values towards attaining a high position of trust in society, where you provide a positive example for others to follow.

Jupiter is Retrograde

Jupiter rules your Third Eye, and you may have unconsciously (or consciously) had experiences in your past where you were taught that you should not allow yourself to be psychic, because people who do that were somehow not accepted in the culture you were in. However, you know that you have natural ability in this area, which is healthy to develop and which can greatly benefit you. Know that what is holding you back in this area is just an illusion of a problem and not a real one. It is right for you to develop your inner seeing, and there is no genuine reason not to. You are now safe to know things and to grow.

Chapter 8: Saturn

Saturn in Scorpio:

Saturn rules your Root Chakra, the source of your energy to bring your goals into physical manifestation, and Scorpio rules sexuality. For you to be healthy in this area, you need to move beyond limitations set by others who may have tried to make you feel guilty about your sexuality for no valid reason. You then need to tune in to your feelings and decide what you really want for yourself. Once you have set goals and carried them out, you will be far healthier and happier because you will really be yourself.

Saturn in 2nd house:

Saturn co-rules your Root Chakra, along with the Earth. Its house shows you the areas of life where you express discipline, responsibility, and structure for your survival and grounding. The key words for it are "I have." You are disciplined when it comes to working long and hard to meet your material needs and build for your old age.

Chapter 9: Uranus

Uranus in Cancer:

Uranus rules your Crown Chakra, the source of your infinite potential for new ideas and knowledge. Cancer is very much a sign of the emotions rather than the intellect. The combination would, for example, allow you to care for children's emotional needs for furturing while at the same time expanding their minds.

Uranus in 11th house:

Uranus rules your Crown Chakra. Its house shows you the areas where you express your universal understanding, knowing and intuition. It also shows where you express your urge for freedom and individuality, and the types of friends you will choose and groups you will join. The key words for it are "I know." Since Uranus also rules the eleventh house, you are especially individualistic, innovative, and egalitarian. You are likely to join groups of people whose ideas are on the leading edge of new discovery in science, astrology, or social reform.

Uranus is Retrograde

You may have learned when you were young that you had to conform, rather than enjoy your own freedom of thought. However, these restrictions were imposed by older people of a past generation and there is no reason now to be held back. You are now free to trust your Higher Self and be every bit as enlightened as you want to be. You do not have to go to great lengths to prove that you have your freedom, because you already have it, and the Universe approves of you. Your potential for new, original thoughts is infinite.

Chapter 10: Neptune

Neptune in Libra:

Neptune rules your Throat Chakra and pertains to your ability to listen on the subtler level. Libra rules balance and relationships. You are capable of very spiritual relationships in which each person genuinely listens to the other. You have a psychic awareness of your partner's needs. You are inspired to create harmony.

Neptune in 2nd house:

Neptune co-rules your Throat Chakra, along with Mercury. Its house shows you the areas of life where you express your ability to listen and to reflect back creatively what you hear, especially when you are acting as a channel for a higher source. The key words for it are "I speak," but also "I listen." You have material resources for yourself, but you are also willing to share with the poor by giving money, food, or housing.

Neptune Sextile Pluto:

Neptune rules the subtler listening ability of your Throat Chakra and Pluto the regenerative and transformative power of your Spleen Chakra. You have a special ability to care and to heal in a very ultimate way. You could, for example, work on healing the planet. You could also express your compassion for the masses in a way that would make a real difference.

Neptune is Retrograde

There may have been influences in your childhood that taught you that you did not have musical ability or that your perceptions were incorrect. However, the people who taught you that were under illusions themselves, and you do not need to be held back by their limitations. Believe in your own ability to listen and to be sensitive. Believe that it is safe to do so. You are responsible only for yourself, and your main relationship is with the Divine. Do not accept blame for others, but rejoice in the fact that you are safe to grow.

Chapter 11: Pluto

Pluto in Leo:

Pluto rules your Second Chakra, which is in your lower abdomen and has domain over your emotions and sexuality. Leo is ruled by the Sun, which is the source of all life on earth. You are very tuned in to the creation of life and the regeneration of it. Pluto is the farthest planet from the Sun, and yet its message is that life is to be valued. Your sexuality and emotions reflect a vital force of the solar system and are to be cherished, as is all life.

Pluto in 12th house:

Pluto co-rules your Second or Spleen Chakra, along with the Moon. Its house shows you the areas of life where you express your regenerative ability and your willpower to transcend mass karma, as well as your emotions and sexuality. The key words for it are "I feel." You have the willpower and understanding to transform the lives of those who are poor and disadvantaged. You empathize with them because of your keen emotional and psychic receptivity, and because of the example that was set by people who helped you in the past. You could help those addicted to drugs or alcohol to come to believe in their own strength.

Pluto is Retrograde

You may have observed inhibitions in your childhood about your sexuality. However, realize that the adults who taught you to feel guilty had problems of their own, and that you do not have any real problems yourself. Affirm that your own feelings are real and acceptable. Love yourself and love your body. Release the past and know that you are safe. Clear your subconscious mind of any inhibitions and see yourself as beautiful and lovable.

Chapter 12: Chiron, North Node, and the Midheaven

Chiron in Capricorn:

Chiron represents the link between your individual identity and the Universal, as it is located between the inner and outer planets of the solar system. In your aura, it is related to your Heart Chakra, which is the link between your lower, physical chakras and your higher, mental ones. Capricorn has already mastered the basics of survival and, therefore, of self-love. First you need to acknowledge to yourself that you have succeeded in this area. Then you will be ready to expand your heart to others, to show them the techniques of survival as well. This will be the beginning of showing love to them, because they need to survive first, before they can do more subtle things.

North Node in Capricorn:

You are learning to create your own security and wealth, rather than rely on your partner's money or what you may have inherited. You have learned in the past that depending on others can result in debt or in burdensome responsibilities or guilt imposed by someone older. As you become established in your own success as to what you can build for yourself, you will find that your self-confidence increases and your Solar Plexus Chakra opens. You may have to clear some old stress out of your throat area for this to happen.

North Node in 5th house:

You are learning to enjoy life, particularly to have more recognition, more recreational activities, and more time to spend with children. You have learned from your own past and from your parents and grandparents that a bohemian lifestyle and offbeat ideas result in too much of giving one's energy to causes, rather than being able to have a positive identity of one's own. As you become happier and more energized yourself, your Second Chakra will open. For this to happen, you may need to release some tension from your nervous system, spinal cord, and ears.

MC in Gemini:

You direct your willpower towards making sure that you have a good education because you are aware that it is through the mind that the Light can come in through your Crown Chakra. You also make sure that your home is a large enough place to enjoy your family and culture, so that your Root Chakra can bring in the earth energy to nourish your roots and beliefs.

your monthly fitness and healthy lifestyle guide report title

*****************************************************************

The biggest challenge to your health and diet is your emotional state. When your emotions are out of control, your body follows your lead. Second in command is Mercury, taking the lead from the emotions and reacting on the body in very profound ways.

Please let me Introduce you to the MONTHLY FITNESS AND HEALTHY LIFE STYLE GUIDE REPORT.

What it is: A monthly look at dietary and exercise potential based on the sign on the Ascendant, with a secondary look at the Moon, house, aspects and all other planets. It is a "LONG TERM" procedure for people interested in taking charge and control of their lives, and understanding the underlying cause of diet and exercise breakdowns. By understanding the monthly influences imposed upon them, they can work with them and avoid the pitfalls placed in their path.

What It is NOT: It is not intended to be used for "quick" dietary loss or health maintenance. It is not meant to be an "overload" of information so that the reader is confused by what can be overwhelming information if not closely monitored as seen below (in the USE paragraph).

DISCLAIMER: No diet or exercise regime should be started without the advice of a doctor or physician.

What is included: Signs on the Ascendant, planets in the house, signs and aspects, Midheaven (as others see us and contribute to our dietary effort).

What is NOT included and why: Midpoints. The main emphasis must be on the monthly emotional response that gets us all into trouble, causing us to spin out of control in a dietary sense.

So How Do I Use It: Major Focus, Focus and no notations. Items marked with Major focus have everything to do with the Health and diet guide. Items marked with focus are still important, but not as much of a major focus as the others. No notation means that the data has been included for information purposes, but I feel do not have a stronger influence than the information that is tagged.

An Important Note On Metabolism: You will see references to metabolism as rated High, Low and Medium. Just because a rating of high is considered good, all it really means is that you have an increased appetite more often. "If" you don’t get off your butt and do some sort of exercise, all that food will simply turn into fat.

Helpful hints:

These points work for me, and are only suggestions. Find what works for you and make the change. Best of luck!

1) Throw away the scale! If your clothes begin to fall off, or become loose, you are losing weight.

2) Pay attention to transits to your natal chart by the planet Jupiter (it expands what it touches), it tends to keep you bloated and feeling that nothing is happening. If you stay with it and don’t give in to a "Why am I trying, when nothing is happening?" attitude, you will be very happy with your success after the Jupiter transits end, either natal or Lunar returns.

3) Pay attention to transits to your natal chart by the planet Saturn, it tends to bind up the internal works, when passing the easiest food becomes somewhat difficult. Carbohydrates and bread are especially difficult.

4) Bread is the biggest thief of your energy. It will cause sluggish behavior, loss of energy and send you in for a nap to recharge yourself.

5) Eat several times a day (every 5-6 hours is comfortable), with smaller portions. Never wait until you are starving to eat, because you can always count on over-eating. If you eat tiny morsels of food several times a day, you will never be "hungry".

6) Eat heavy meals (earlier) during the day. Your last meal should be no later than 6pm. Eat enough to carry you through until AM, but not so much that you can’t digest it.

7) If you over-eat, skip the next meal, as you have over-loaded your digestive system, then wait until you start to feel hungry and have a very small vegetarian type meal. Drink lots of water.

8) Double cheeseburgers won’t help your diet, but if you must, eat it at noon and don’t eat until dinner at 6, eating only vegetable type foods and by all means drink plenty of water. Remove as much bread as possible before eating, and your digestive system will thank you.

9) I know what they say about coffee being a no-no, but on a day when you have a very busy schedule and need to get going, one cup (the real stuff) in the morning does the trick for the entire day, and an added benefit of being a wonderful diuretic. Any more than one cup reacts negatively on the nervous system. For me, the energy from one cup of coffee lasts 2-3 days, limiting my intake even more. I am actually down to 1/3 of a cup now. It still keeps me wired for 3 days.

10) Do experiment with food groups and types to see what your body likes and dislikes. For me it is Chinese food. I get a complete (takeout portion controlled) meal for a nominal price, and it covers all the food groups. I pass on the soup though. I have a dozen meals made up at a time and freeze them until needed. As a suggestion, I might have Pepper steak (replaced with chicken) with vegetables and fried rice. My body agrees with the results, but yours may react differently.

11) If you are a couch potato like me who spends most of his day sitting (writing text like this), then exercise is more essential. If you sit and watch TV a lot, then include exercises that you can do while watching TV. Make your personal space your work out area as well.

12) Your Lunar return influences change every month, and so should your diet, if not only to keep you from getting bored to death! You will actually find your body needs and food groups change as well.

For the past two years I have been paying careful attention to the Lunar return (13 moons), and especially the sign on the Ascendant, and have come up with the following and very effective guide for everyone concerned with health, diet and exercise. As a long time sufferer dealing with obesity, I have practiced what I am about to preach with very nice results. It is what has inspired me to write this program and keep track of the ups and downs, pitfalls and workable solutions to a problem plaguing many Americans. I believe it to be an invaluable tool (if used correctly) to take back control of your life. The nice part about this program is, if you fail, you can always start over. You might even understand why you failed, bringing eventual success to your efforts. It points out quite clearly how you might fair in a "fire sign month", or how you may fail or see less than expected results in a "Venus controlled month".

The astrological analysis is based on the following information. This information can be useful if you are an astrologer or student of astrology:

Lunar Return for: Chicago, Illinois 41 N 51 87 W 39

LUNAR RETURN: October 8, 2005 at 12:57:38 AM

Zodiac Signs on the Ascendant and MC, and the Ascendant Ruler

The zodiac signs on the Ascendant and MC, and the house position of the Ascendant ruler at the time of the Lunar return are described below. Your social and career opportunities for the coming month are influenced by these signs and house placement.

Ascendant in Leo (MAJOR FOCUS):

The sign on your Lunar Ascendant this month is Leo. Makes losing weight more difficult, because of all the rich and fatty foods ingested.

Characteristics of Leo on the Ascendant:

You will be courageous, proud and somewhat egotistical this month. You are an incurable romantic and dreamer, and are perfectly capable of making dreams a reality. You will be much more proud and stubborn now, finding it very difficult to break undesirable habits and behavior patterns. Your stamina can also be a wonderful asset, and you can easily inspire others to be their best. You are apt to be intensely self absorbed and god forbid you should ask for assistance from others, as this is a sure sign of weakness. Generosity and warmth wins many friends, and your inspiration for others is also a plus this month. Creative abilities, art, music, entertainment and communications fields are where your efforts will be placed.

Yes, you will be somewhat self centered this month, and what mark you can make on the world in the name of self expression is your forte. Do the best that you can, and the world can use you as a model for their own gain and inspiration.

The Ruling planet for Leo:
The Sun, the giver of life, which gives you strength, vitality and confidence has rulership over your Ascendant this month.

The Part of The Body that Leo Rules:
Leo rules the heart, back, spine, nervous tension, fever, eyes, liver and forearm.

Your Metabolic rate this month:
Medium to high. INCREASES THE APPETITE somewhat, making you feel hungry more often. With this much energy present, you should be able to overcome any obstacles before you. Remember to change your routine to keep from getting bored. Because it will be very easy to burn up food that you eat now, make sure to eat smaller and more nutritious meals. If you eat more frequently, say 4 mini-meals a day, your body will thank you for it. Just like a car or plane, the better the fuel that you put in, the better the performance. Avoid heavy food and carbohydrates that can clog the engine and slow you down, stealing your energy. Heavy food can cause you to feel sluggish, resulting in the need to take more breaks and afternoon or evening naps to recharge.

Likely attitude towards health and diet:
"Diet??? I don't need no stinking diet!.....There's too much partying to be done!!!"

Your appetite will increase dramatically with Leo located here. Choices in food lean towards more lavish meals such as fattening "subs". The only problem with this eating pattern, is you are STILL going to be very hungry in a few hours. Eat small digestible meals more frequently. Appetite returns every 2-3 hours after last meal, even if lifestyle is sedentary.

Exercise Programs:
Aerobic exercise, health club, exercise class, going out dancing, martial arts, kickboxing, tennis, golf, walking, Pilates, yoga, calisthenics, basketball and softball are excellent outlets for Leo energy.

Eat:
Whole wheat, rye products, almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, lemons, peaches, coconut, rice, seafood, beets, asparagus, egg yolk, beef, lamb, poultry, liver, fresh fruit, salad greens, cheese, whole milk, and yogurt, spinach, raisins, dates, plums, pears, and oranges, onions, cucumbers, lettuce, apples.

Avoid:
Fatty foods, snack foods, cakes, and candy.

Pay attention to any/all planets located in the First House of the self, for additional tips and information, as well as the aspects to them.

Disclaimer: Before starting any diet, always seek the advice of a doctor or physician.

Ascendant is in Leo, Leo Decanate

Your metabolic rate will be medium to high. INCREASES THE APPETITE somewhat, making you feel hungry more often.

Ruled by the Sun, you will be proud, determined, sincere and courageous in everything that you do. You will either make an excellent friend or miserable enemy. You won't let anyone step on your sense of importance if they want to get along with you. You will have a great enthusiasm and possess leadership abilities, but you must take control of your temper, pride and vanity.

Ruler of Ascendant in 3rd house:

With the Lunar Ascendant Ruler in the Lunar 3rd house of communication, this is where social and intellectual learning is shared. This is where you will explore your community or communicate to your environment, and to make sense out of it. The 3rd House is also related to education, all forms of communication and short journeys. The 3rd House brings importance to brothers and sisters, childhood friends, neighbors and the outside world. Most importantly, it is where you as an individual fit within the structure of the world around you this month, and your ability to relate to it.

Additional 3rd house influences:
Search for knowledge, short trips, community involvement, relationship to siblings, education, dexterity, curiosity, analytical skills, speaking, writing, phone calls, letters, books, papers, television, radio, data, facts, neighbors, siblings, neighborhood, merchants, trading, travel around town, trips, visits, immediate environment, judgment in making choices, and telepathy.

MC in Aries:

Since this is the most "visible" part of the Lunar chart, it represents how you want to be seen by the outside world. It is the face or mask that you deliberately put on for others to see.

With Aries located here, your diet should include less salt and liquor in particular. Ingesting too much salt affects the bones and arteries, while liquor will react negatively on the kidneys.

In career matters or simply areas where have interests include electronics, mechanics, armed forces, fitness or fitness instruction, engineering, surgery, promotion, building, manufacturing, and sports. You will probably work better alone or prefer to operate your own business rather than work for someone else.

Your outward appearance is your strength, being a leader not a follower as an inspiration for others. It should be noted that you will not fit into the "social structure" of what everyone else does because you are self confident and others can follow your lead, not the other way around.

Arrogance, lack of sensitivity & selfishness are characteristics that you should avoid, because somewhere down the line the reality that other people have the same rights as you will be quite evident. When you get ideas, you act on it immediately and with such enthusiasm and lack of forethought that a favorable outcome stands a 50/50 chance of working out.

The Sun

The placement of the Sun in the Lunar return chart is very important and affects almost every area of your life!

Sun in 3rd house:

The Lunar Sun is now in your 3rd house. Communication will increase with people connected to the sign that occupies the 3rd house this month. Life accelerates and the phone will never stop ringing with the Lunar Sun located here. There will be an increase in visits to and from others, talking, writing, everyday activities, short trips to do this and that, shopping, time spent with family and friends and a general outpouring of energy.

Additional 3rd house interpretations:
Search for knowledge, community involvement, relationship to siblings, education, dexterity, curiosity, analytical skills, letters, books, papers, television, radio, data, facts, neighbors, siblings, neighborhood, merchants, trading, travel around town, trips, immediate environment, judgment in making choices, and telepathy.

Sun trine Neptune:

Job hunting prospects look good and humanitarian projects are emphasized this month. Intense and powerful experiences will find you and investigation and study unto the unknown will be very revealing. Contacts will include more Pisces personalities than normal, and be in complete harmony.

Perceptions are stronger than usual, so please pay attention to the insights that come to you. Remember to forgive others when they do you wrong, and be merciful to others. Meditation and Spiritual Development can begin at this time and spiritual values should be shared with others.

The intuitive mind can influence the thinking process, and this is sure to be a very spacey type of month. Kindness and generosity can easily be bestowed on others. You have the ability to visualize past experiences and analyze them. This is a very favorable month for meditation and self development. Ideal loves are in the picture so go find them or perhaps they will find you. Long journeys are favored.

Sun opposition N. Node:

The Ego Out Of Control.

Don't expect communications to be easy with the rest of the world this month. A withdrawal from social activities can be expected. Problems with the nervous system can develop and physical exercise may be the key to relieving the tension.

Relationships between men and women will not do well and creative endeavors should be left alone, for a more fortunate time. You may want to be a leader, but the timing is very wrong.

The Moon

The placement of the Moon in the Lunar return chart affects emotions, moods, domestic affairs and relationships with women during the coming month.

Moon in 5th house (MAJOR FOCUS):

Now, right after the Ascendant this month, the Moon is extremely important to your health, diet and well being. The Moon RULES your emotional state, and which ever way it goes, so does your diet and health. Ever been in love?????? I mean really in love?? Did you need to eat to feel whole, or was love your entire nourishment? What happened when you broke up, got divorced or weren’t getting along, and who became your new bestest friend (again)??? Food!

Wherever the Moon is placed this month, is where you will look for love, support or emotional nourishment. The aspects to the moon this month will show you your chance of finding it. With well aspected (nourished) planets your health and quality of life thrives, but anything negative will send you off your diet and health plan into the waiting and willing arms of a lover called food!!! If you will look at the planets afflicted (difficult), it will give you some idea of how you will try to nourish yourself (food) and what you have a thirst or hunger for. Spicy and hot foods (Mars) can point to sexual desire, sweets (Venus) can indicate a need for pure love and romance. Even in times of anger, you will turn to this willing lover (food), who never ever, ever lets you down, especially when wrongs haven’t been righted. The amount of food you eat when angry will show just how much you want to punish others or punish yourself.

The Lunar Moon is now in your 5th house. Now that the Lunar Moon has touched your pleasurable and sensual side there might get a sudden desire to see a movie, take in a play or become dramatic in our emotional expression. Romance is in the air and we will be feeling VERY amorous whether in a relationship or indulging in a passing whimsy. Since children are also a fifth house matter we may be more concerned with their lives and be a lot more protective of them this month, or there can be upsetting conditions around children and their welfare which we can react to very strongly and emotionally.

When your emotions get out of control with the Moon located here, you will head straight for fatty foods, snack foods, cakes, and candy.

Additional 5th house interpretations:
Love affairs, speculation, games, creative expression through art, music, dance, theatrics, writing, poetry, songs, stories, athletics, or personal craftsmanship. Creating beauty, courtship, lovemaking, pastimes, concerts, dating, playing with children, parties and leisure activity.

Moon trine N. Node:

Meeting new women in your environment can have a very positive effect on you this month and success will be found dealing with the public. You have the ability to make changes in your life at this time, should you have the desire to do so.

Mercury

The placement of Mercury in the Lunar return chart affects communication, and your ability to learn and express yourself during the coming month.

Mercury in 3rd house (MAJOR FOCUS):

They say that where the mind goes, the body follows. That is why there is a Major Focus on it every month. What you think, speak and project, even unspoken words will convince the body of your intent and act accordingly. Positive affirmation of your goals will bring positive results to your health and diet efforts. Negative thoughts and actions will bring nothing but negative results to your health and diet efforts. Look at the aspects to Mercury to find out if the influences around you this month will act to derail your efforts or strengthen them. If they are negative, look to the cause and correct them. You may not be able to change them completely, but you will be aware of what the cause is, and be prepared to work with them, instead of against them. You have the tools for success, if you don’t take them out of the tool box and put them to work, what good are they?

Mercury is in your 3rd house, and indicates areas of interests in your life this month, as well as health matters or where your thoughts are likely to be focused.

Communication through letters, phone calls, faxes, publishing and visiting increase. This is a favorable and busy month when curiosity will catch up with you. It is also excellent for studying, writing, and teaching, working with groups of people, getting in touch with brothers, sisters, and neighbors or making plans to do something together. If there are harsh aspects to Mercury while in the 3rd house, there can be difficulties in communications, problems with the automobile or commuting, misunderstandings with others and a nervous constitution. Decisions and contracts should be signed when the aspect passes.

Additional 3rd house interpretations:
Search for knowledge, short trips, community involvement, relationship to siblings, education, dexterity, curiosity, analytical skills, speaking, writing, phone calls, letters, books, papers, television, radio, data, facts, siblings, neighborhood, merchants, trading, travel around town, trips, visits, immediate environment, judgment in making choices, and telepathy.

Venus

The placement of Venus in the Lunar return chart affects romance and friendship over the coming month.

Venus in 4th house (FOCUS):

Next in line for our Focus is lovely, seductive and beautiful Venus. Wherever Venus is located indicates where love, affection and attention can be found. Look carefully at the aspects to Venus because she can either bring love or try to hold it back. Negative aspects can also try to derail your efforts for health and diet, whereas positive aspects can help to support your efforts. Do not allow negative Venus aspects to knock you off your path to success, instead recognize that they are there, and work with them, instead of against them. Remember, every day, is NOT going to be a holiday.

Make peace with the people you live with and your parents. This is a wonderful month to redecorate the house. Watch the digestive system because there will be an increase of good and rich food. Drinking too much can be adverse as well. Romance and real estate matters are favored. Entertaining in the home will be pleasant and well received.

Suggested exercise programs to help you stay slim and in shape are water sports, swimming, running, calisthenics, sailing, surfing, or rafting. Avoid any fitness program that requires you to exert yourself too much. Do not try to lose weight too quickly now, rather a slow and gradual weight loss is the way to go.

Try to avoid eating starches, sugar, and salt. Constipation from cheese can occur, and salt produces bloating. Spicy and highly seasoned food doesn’t sit well with your more than sensitive stomach. Be good to your digestive system this month, and it will not have to hurt you!

Additional 4th house interpretations:
Country, home, family, memories, dependence on others or others depending on you, real-estate, safety, security, roots, tradition, loyalties, ties, domestic life, nourishment, support from others, being accepted, belonging, furnishings, meals, your subconscious memories, fears, or habits. Laundry, food, household items, daily home life, private life, and karmic conditions.

Mars

The placement of Mars in the Lunar return chart affects your drive, ambition, and vitality during the coming month.

Mars in 10th house:

Next in line is the planet Mars. Mars is considered extremely aggressive and masculine. It shows where you will put tremendous energy and where you will apply that energy by house. Mars is that push that gets you going, gets you off the couch and onto the treadmill. Push too hard however, and you can meet with great resistance from all areas around you, including people, places and things. Applied in the wrong way will bring with it combative situations, arguments, tempers flaring and in some cases accidental behavior. If the Universe tells you to knock off the macho behavior (aspect wise), then take a hint and do so. If the Universe gives you a green light aspect wise, then go for it with your whole heart. Look carefully at the aspects to find out who, or what may be putting obstacles in your path, and act accordingly.

This month, be your own boss or authority but be aware that parents, employers, bosses or government interference can stop your efforts if harshly aspected. You are anxious to be someone special now. Admiration and recognition can feed the flames of this fiery planet. Conflicts can be encountered with coworkers. New careers can begin because of your aggressive nature, but if Mars makes any difficult aspects while in the 10th house, you can adopt a demanding attitude in the career environment or cause conflicts to arise in business, career or profession.

Additional 10th house interpretations:
Profession, occupation, ambitions, goals, talents, satisfaction from work, your public self, status, the actual title of your job, reputation, what you are known for, strangers perceptions of you, public reputation, status, life direction, achievements, honor, dishonor, authority figures, government, politics.

Jupiter

The placement of Jupiter in the Lunar return chart determines in what areas of your life you are likely to have opportunities for growth and expansion during the coming month.

Jupiter in 3rd house:

Next in line we have Jupiter, planet of good fortune and expansion. Wherever Jupiter falls it likes to make things bigger, and gives resistance to letting things go back to normal shape, like the human body for instance (especially around the hip area). Whenever Jupiter takes a prominent position in the Lunar or Natal chart, weight will be easy to put on, and remain on, until the influence ends. Then and only then can things go back to normal, whatever normal is.

An increase in contacts, travel, and communication will be on a much larger scale than you are used to. The ability to effectively say what is on your mind are highlighted. Finishing projects that have been started, generosity extended to others, being more tolerant of the opinions of others, writing interests, financial benefits that come from relatives highlight this month. You can also expect a total lack of practical thinking in any area, especially when buying a new car which is a possibility when this position is present.

This is an excellent time for studying, teaching, lecturing and training you want to follow through on. If Jupiter makes a difficult aspect while in the 3rd house, there can be prejudiced viewpoints adopted that will need revision.

Additional 3rd house interpretations:
Search for knowledge, short trips, community involvement, relationship to siblings, education, dexterity, curiosity, analytical skills, speaking, writing, phone calls, letters, books, papers, television, radio, data, facts, neighbors, siblings, neighborhood, merchants, trading, travel around town, trips, visits, immediate environment, judgment in making choices, and telepathy.

Saturn

The placement of Saturn in the Lunar return chart determines where you will encounter obstacles, difficult lessons, and where discipline will be needed in your life during the coming month.

Saturn in 1st house (MAJOR FOCUS):

Next up is Saturn. Saturn is the great teacher. Wherever Saturn is located by house, shows where losses, setbacks, depression, maturity, growing up or feeling gloomy can occur. Usually it is present when the time is just not right for an action or activity to occur, for whatever the reason. It is like having a credit card that always comes back "access denied". Sometimes the access is permanent, other times it is temporary in nature.

Life becomes much more serious, and you become self conscious and perhaps insecure. You are very self critical and your vitality will be low. Heavy responsibilities and accomplishments are to be expected. Do not engage in long range projects this month, as you will be withdrawn and tired, wondering who you really are inside. There can be a fair amount of depression that accompanies Saturn here. Keep the faith and everything will go forward next month. This is an excellent influence for losing weight because of a loss of appetite. At the same time the digestive process is slowed down and you will have to increase your fiber intake. If Saturn makes a difficult aspect while in the 1st house, there can be ill health or a lack of confidence.

The Part Of The Body Saturn Rules:
Bones, teeth and especially the knees, hair, skin, and stomach are sensitive points this month. If you are not cautious, accidents from this sign include broken bones, sprains, dislocations, joint pain, sensitive skin, and allergies. You may very well benefit from reflexology and message to relieve any symptoms listed above.

Your Metabolic rate this Lunar month:
Steady to high.

Exercise Programs:
Sports such as hiking, jogging, golf, or rock climbing would probably be to your liking this month.

Eat:
Oranges, lemons, celery, cabbage, spinach, broccoli, corn, peas, potatoes, walnuts, almonds, whole wheat, oats, brown rice, raw salad, fresh fruits and vegetables, lean protein, fish, eggs, whole-grain bread, cheese, buttermilk, yogurt, beans, plums, strawberries and blueberries.

Avoid:
Eating chocolate and refined sugar is bad for you, as well as highly seasoned and spicy food because of intestinal upsets.

Uranus, Neptune and Pluto

The placement of the 3 outer planets in the Lunar return chart indicates areas in your life that are likely to take surprising twists and turns, where idealism and illusion may enter your life, or where compulsive or extreme situations may arise in your life during the coming month.

Uranus in 8th house:

Next in line is the planet Uranus, ruler of Aquarius, and just like a true Aquarian, Uranus, is the rebel, the non-conformist, the humanitarian and the unpredictable child. Wherever Uranus is placed by house, all bets are off for a normal existence, replaced by sudden out of the blue and whimsical behavior. No matter what the circumstance this month, it won’t be boring! It is life thrust upon us, not chosen.

Expect change of some kind in joint financial matters resulting in loss or gain. Death, inheritance, taxes and sexual matters can arise. Love relationships that begin this month will be different, but may not pass the test of time. Do not make any permanent commitments this month as relationships will have to be altered or end, because things cannot remain the same. If Uranus makes a difficult aspect while in the 8th house, there can be the death of a person that touches you very deeply, or problems can arise in business, taxes, wills and insurance.

Additional 8th house interpretations:
Rebirth, transformation, other peoples money, secrets, sex, mysticism, intuitiveness, renewing, rebuilding, restoring, refurbishing, limiting beliefs, bad habits, attachments that drain you physically, attachments to possessions that restrict or burden, obsessions, compulsive behavior, legacies, inheritance, insurance, alimony, taxes, loans, psychic and occult matters, and metaphysics.

Neptune in 7th house:

One of my favorite planets is Neptune. Among the qualities it loves to bring to the party is illusion, and deception, but also imagination, illumination and inspiration (That covers all the "I" words). Psychic and intuitive aspects can emerge from our subconscious mind now, and can do so in a myriad of ways like music, art, poetry, compassion and humanitarian efforts. Remember to look at Neptune like you are in a very naughty dream that is not real, and is never going to come true. It was great at the time, but has nothing to do with reality.

Watch the fine print in legal matters as they can be confusing or downright deceptive this month. Relationships, marriage or business partnerships can take on a confusing tone or prove to be deceptive in some way as well. Misunderstandings due to communication differences are likely, so be realistic in your expectations of others. Do not begin any new relationships this month. If Neptune makes a difficult aspect while in this house, there can be deception in marriage and withdrawing from others.

Additional 7th house interpretations:
Commitment, harmony, marriage partners, romantic partners, business partners, doctor and patient relationships, relating to people who oppose your ideas, competitors, adversaries, opponents in any area, conflicts, enemies, lawsuits, karmic patterns, people's reactions to our actions, the public, and legal affairs.

Neptune sextile N. Node:

I really like Neptune planets, because it is the only planet that can present false facts and lies to your conscious mind, and you swallow it, bag and baggage. When it comes to the way you can do yourself in, either through drugs, medication, alcohol or people you depend or rely on as authority figures, Neptune is the bomb! This usually happens with the negative or difficult aspects though. The positive ones can serve to enlighten or awaken latent abilities within you.

It will be easy to influence your friends and associates with the new ideas you have this month and in romantic situations, there will be a noticeable increase in affection and tenderness. Your relationships will have a strong sensation of a "soul connection". Carry out your plans in a more organized way rather than striving for new methods. Don't expect more than is humanly possible from others now, instead help others to reach their own potential.

Pluto in 5th house:

Last in line, but not forgotten we have the planet PLUTO who is the master of digging down beneath the surface of who you are and bringing some very powerful yet subtle changes into your life. Pluto is where your OBSESSIONS can be found this month.

An overpowering need for love affairs, frenzied creativity, and change in relationships with children should be expected during this month. Power plays regarding any of these matters can be expected and at the very least, affairs and relationships will be very intense. The strong ones will remain, while the ones that cannot cope with change will end. If Pluto makes a difficult aspect while in the 5th house, then there can be disruptions in romantic situations and sexual problems.

Additional 5th house interpretations:
Love affairs, speculation, games, creative expression through art, music, dance, theatrics, writing, poetry, songs, stories, athletics, or personal craftsmanship. Creating beauty, courtship, lovemaking, pastimes, concerts, dating, playing with children, parties and leisure activity.

Pluto trine MC:

Gradual changes are taking place that forces you to move in new directions and power may be granted to you over others in personal or professional life. Be careful what you do with it. Expect people to be drawn to you, fascinated by that energy and power.
