From an esoteric point of view your birth chart
is a portrait of your soul's intention for this lifetime, the lessons
to be learned, qualities to develop, problems to be resolved, service
to be rendered. From that perspective, the choices one makes in one's
daily life have reverberations that may last beyond even this lifetime.
This report is written to help you clarify your
lessons and goals, illuminate your struggles, and encourage you to
move in the direction of your true purposes.
The best to you on your journey...

Chapter 1: The Moon
The placement of the Moon in your birth chart is
very significant from a karmic perspective, as it indicates the accumulated
karmic tendencies, both positive and negative, that you carry from
your past incarnated experiences on earth.
While the Sun reveals your intended purposes and
lessons for this present life cycle, the MOON represents what you
have already done and developed, hence, what is instinctive and natural
to you, and what you tend to do over and over again. Your childhood
is also reflected in the Moon's placement, as it is through those
childhood circumstances that any unresolved past-life issues are re-stimulated.
Your subconscious predisposition is indicated by the Moon's position.
It is the psychic imprint of the past. The nodes of the Moon describe
behavior patterns from the past, as well as delineating a direction
out of outworn or overdone behaviors and habits.
Moon in Scorpio:
In your incarnational past you developed an acute
psychic sensitivity, a sort of psychic x-ray vision that enables you
to read the hidden agendas and the unspoken (often unconscious) messages
that other people put out. Your ability to intuit another's motives
and unexpressed feelings may make some people wary or uncomfortable
around you. It is as if they sense that you know more about them than
they know themselves, especially about those aspects of themselves
they would rather not face or have other people see. In the past,
your penetrating insight into human nature, your capacity to deeply
"know" a person emphatically, and your attunement to the
dark or hidden under currents in a person or situation may have gained
you the reputation of being a "witch". You may well have
used your deeper knowledge to gain power over or manipulate people
in subtle ways. Certainly you had the capacity to do so. You may also
have endured much ridicule whenever you openly expressed your feelings
and your awareneses. As a result, you learned to be very secretive
and private and to protect yourself from prying eyes. Even today,
you can be very asocial and you hide quite a bit of yourself from
public view, retreating into seclusion whenever you feel threatened.
At a deep level you may believe that you must hide in order to survive.
Thus, allowing yourself to come out into the open, or to let people
in, may be very difficult for you. Early experiences in this life,
or in past lifetimes, have conditioned you to be less than trusting.
Your lovers and close friends may feel you are unjustifiably fearful,
even a bit paranoid. The truth is, you have experienced first-hand
the nastier side of human nature. You thus tend to throw up smoke
screens between yourself and those who would know you at more than
a superficial level. Once you do allow someone to know you well, fears
of loss, betrayal, or abandonment usually surface rapidly. Nevertheless,
your capacity for and your need for deep intimacy and emotional closeness
in your relationships is greater than most. You seek intensity in
your relationships and can not be satisfied with "luke warm".
You run hot and cold, and are prone to be compulsive or obsessed with
the people or issues you care about. At your worst, you are unbearably
possessive and controlling, driven by your craving for closeness and
also your underlying memories of being betrayed. Jealousy may be your
greatest nemesis. Secretly nursing grudges, resentment, and grievances
over things that happened long ago may also be a bad habit of yours,
one you will need to overcome if you are not to be poisoned by your
own negativity.
It is important that you do not deny or repress
such feelings, either, as that will only fuel them. However, if you
can acknowledge and share them - and then let them go, you can free
yourself of much old, excess "baggage". You are also prone
to strong feelings of guilt, often for no known cause that you can
consciously recognize. This may stem from three sources: 1)Being punished
or shamed as a child for your very strong feel-ings, especially the
"not-nice" ones, 2) your own instinctive awareness of the
"shadowy" side of your own nature and 3) deep memories of
your own misuse or misdirection of power.
At your best, you are passionate, creative, caring,
deep, and wise in an instinctive way. In this lifetime you could be
a particularly insightful psychologist or counselor, the one people
will divulge their darkest secrets to. By confronting your own negativity
and pain, and learning to release it, you are able to shed some light
for others who struggle with the same.
Moon Square Saturn:
You are bringing into your current lifetime subconscious
memories of harsh discipline, emotional deprivation, separations from
family and other sources of security, which prevented you from being
properly nourished and cared for. You may be responding to these experiences
in different ways, for instance, you may need tremendous amounts of
reassurance and supportive love from the people around you in order
to feel that you can trust them. You may cling to family, traditions,
routines, and structures. You may have persistent underlying feelings
of sadness or loss without recognizing their source. You may concentrate
on your work and practical responsibilities (to neglect your emotions
and personal life). You may isolate yourself and feel alone, or refuse
to be alone, becoming fearful and anxious without others nearby. You
may be needy and insecure about your worth, or hide all of your needs
for love and affirmation behind a mask of cool indifference. On a
physical level, you may have an extremely sensitive stomach, poor
digestion, and an inability to take certain foods.
Much of this is based on your subconscious belief
that whatever occurred in the past was your fault (even though you
may have been innocent), and that love, security, and comfort are
scarce commodities which can be withdrawn from you at any time. In
this lifetime you will be working with these patterns, learning to
nurture and care for yourself. There may be periods of aloneness and
singularity which instead of being lonely and isolated can be healing,
giving you time to do quiet, contemplative activities that nourish
you.
These strict disciplines you were burdened with
in the past need to be balanced with gentleness. You are much too
hard on yourself, and you tend to see criticism and blame where none
is intended. Above all, self-acceptance and cherishing yourself, regardless
of your flaws or supposed past errors, is a major lesson in this current
cycle.
North Node in Gemini:
In your incarnational past you were devoted to ideals
and principles and high-mended pursuits. Now your growth direction
is to laugh and see the humor in it all, as well as to apply your
wisdom in ordinary day to day interactions.
North Node in 12th house:
You may find that your past tendencies are activated
particularly in your job, the daily tasks you perform, and they also
strongly influence your health for good or ill. Exploring the deeper,
hidden dimensions of yourself (through dream work, hypnosis) or purposefully
engaging the parts of yourself you consider to be weak or unacceptable
are also an important part of your growth direction in this lifetime.
Chapter 2: The Sun
The Sun in your birth chart represents the primary
creative thrust for this lifetime, those qualities you are to develop
(or further develop) and express, and your current life focus. This
may be in harmony with your instincts and your emotional habits, or
along completely different lines. The Sun represents your conscious
identity in this lifetime.
Sun in Sagittarius:
Your path of soul development in this lifetime involves
seeking and seeing the big picture, and your ability to intuitively
perceive the interconnectedness of things in a larger pattern. You
are driven from within to get an overview and to search for universal
laws and principles, whether this is expressed as a compelling urge
to travel and see the world, a keen interest in religion, philosophy,
or other systems which purport to explain "how it all fits together",
or simply a restless urge to experience as much of life as you can,
(in order to get as much of the whole picture as possible). This propensity
to see things as a whole rather than focusing on the component parts,
is one of your gifts. An example of this might be an interest in "holistic"
medicine, which acknowledges the interconnection of spirit, mind,
and body, and treats the whole person rather than focusing on one
diseased part of the anatomy. Or, perhaps, being able to see society
as a whole, and thus what future directions or trends are likely.
At the least, it enables you to keep a sense of perspective and a
sense of humor when "little things" go awry. Being innately
attuned to a larger framework and feeling yourself to be a part of
it gives you a sense of confidence, and faith that "everything
will be all right in the long run". It also inclines you to take
risks, to gamble, to try your luck, because instinctively you know
that there is something larger than yourself buoying you up (whether
or not you conceptualize it as life or God or something else). This
gives you a certain leeway to play with life, to take chances.
At times, however, you can be so enamored of your
abstract vision, your view of the whole, your intuitive sense of possibilities
and potentials, that you miss what is right in front of you, including
the actual work involved in realizing that vision, or perhaps the
real people that might be effected. Your astuteness in the realm of
understanding principles and having the broad view is sometimes matched
by your ineptness and insensitivity when it comes to understanding
and relating to individual people. You tend to invest much in your
belief system, your convictions, your philosophy, and your ideals.
Your challenge is practicing what you preach, doing something with
your vision, and tempering your candor and truthfulness with compassion
for people's limitations. You also need to guard against a certain
laziness or sloppiness regarding details, taking the easy way, or
depending too much on luck.
Your drive for enlarging your horizons and expanding
your understanding of life is often accompanied by a great need for
personal freedom and space, and a horror of being trapped, limited,
fenced in, or confined in any way at all. There is something spirited
and free and untamable in you, and for you to be happiest you must
feel that there is some adventure in your life, opportunities to go
places (literal or otherwise) that you have never gone before. The
unknown, the untried, the yet-to-be explored beckons you, and being
tethered to a routine or having to stay within certain known boundaries
(budget, location, diet, curriculum, whatever) goes against your grain.
You can discipline yourself, but discipline that is imposed is hard
for you to accept. Though often times you seem to be "luckier"
than most people, self-discipline is a crucial key to your success,
otherwise, you can easily get side-tracked from realizing your goals
in life by all of the other interesting possibilities, and your curiosity
about the road not taken. At your worst, you will procrastinate, and
dream about all of the glorious things you will do in the future,
and fanaticize about "how wonderful it will be" without
attempting to bring any of these dreams to fruition. Behind this is
a fear that the "real-thing" will not be as grand as the
dream, and that your talent or potential is not as great as you imagine.
However, you may well be a late bloomer in life. After having a wide
variety of experiences and numerous adventures, you are more apt to
settle down and give your all to a single meaningful pursuit. "Meaning"
is the key word here. Deep within, and whether or not you think of
yourself in this way, your life is really about a quest for meaning
and this is what fuels your restlessness and your curiosity. Discovering
the meaning behind the lesson, the purpose and the opportunity for
growth is ultimately your true focus in this lifetime and bringing
that meaning into fuller expression in the world you share with others.
Sun Conjunct Mars in Sagittarius:
One of your strengths is your high level of physical
vitality and energy. You are an ACTION person, a doer, a go-getter,
and you can pack more activity into a day than most people do in a
week. You enjoy fighting the good fight, taking on challenges with
relish, and you are inherently quite competitive but not in a way
that provokes anger or fierce opposition from others. Because in the
past you have succeeded in achieving your goals, you now have an inner
expectation of success and of being a winner, a natural self-confidence
that you draw on without even thinking about it. You have developed
many positive "masculine" qualities, such as courage, will
power and the ability to take initiative. You tend to be a leader
without having to struggle or coerce others into accepting your authority.
Occasionally, however, you may overpower other people without realizing
it, since they may not have the energy resources that you do.
Chapter 3: Rising Sign
The point that was on the eastern horizon at the
moment of your birth is called the ASCENDANT, or rising sign. While
the Sun describes your conscious direction and current life focus,
and the Moon your subconscious predisposition and past, the Ascendant
indicates a way of being that transcends and embraces past, present,
and future. It describes the way you engage and merge with the outer
world and how you bring through into life the energies depicted by
the Sun, the Moon, and the rest of your birth chart. Everything is
filtered through the Ascendant from an esoteric point of view. It
indicates your soul's function and thus a key part of your destiny.
Cancer Rising:
Whether you are male or female, you carry the qualities
of and in some way embody the archetype of the mother. You will find
that you attract people who need care, understanding and encouragement.
Devotion and maintaining emotional soul-connections to life is the
heart of your approach to living. You are very sympathetic in both
the sense that you feel for others and also in the sense of "sympathetic
resonance". Your own feelings and moods will often reflect the
dominant feeling tone in your environment. You absorb the atmosphere
around you and thrive in surroundings that are home-like, personal,
supportive, and cooperative.
When out of balance you are hypersensitive to hurts
and slights, are prone to extreme moodiness, worry, and self-pity,
and/or feel like an insatiable needy child yourself. Self-nurturing
and self-responsibility are thus extremely important for you to develop
in order to bring out your best.
Your ruling planet is the Moon. You probably felt
a strong identification with the description of your Moon's placement
as you read the first section. This is because in your case the Moon
not only reflects something about your past and inherited tendencies,
but also colors your entire way of relating to the world now. It describes
an important aspect of your soul's function.
Cancer Rising and Moon in Scorpio:
Your Moon in Scorpio suggests that, though you may
appear mild and motherly or soft, you can be truly ferocious in your
defense of anyone or anything you care about, especially those who
depend upon you. You are the Mother Tiger, when threatened. Deep sentiment
and compassion for the suffering color everything for you. Words may
be difficult or not at all important to you. What matters is soul,
mystery and allegiances of the heart.
Chapter 4: Saturn, Your Achilles Heel
Karmically considered, the placement of Saturn in
your birth chart indicates where your energetic blockages, weaknesses
and fears lie, and the areas of your life where the most concentrated
effort and discipline will be required to master and overcome them.
Yet it also points to the aspects of life which can become your greatest
strength if you are willing to face your fears and difficulties honestly,
and work with them patiently.
Saturn in Leo
You struggle with acute self consciousness and either
an exaggerated sense of your own significance or a profound lack of
it. This seriousness about the self and overconcern about your dignity
or how others perceive you tends to tie you up in knots, and inhibits
you from expressing yourself freely especially in those areas of life
that should be or at least could be playful, spontaneous fun (lovemaking,
dancing, sports, creative out-pouring of any part). Intense shyness
may be a problem, especially in matters of the heart. Your performance
anxiety reflects your deep need for recognition and affirmation from
the world. However, this need is apt to be frustrated and unfulfilled
until you learn to search within yourself for the truth about who
you are, and discover a sense of wholeness and completeness within.
Once you gain a deep sense of yourself and your worth, the self-centeredness
and constant desire for "ego-strokes" which plague you in
your early years may well dissipate. At least, this is your task.
Saturn in 1st house:
You tend to get tied up in knots when it comes to
presenting yourself to the world, and it is frequently difficult for
you to express yourself (the person you feel yourself to be inside)
without a great deal of editing, censoring, or "polishing the
goods". As a result you may seem rather stiff and self-controlled
but even if you do not, even if you seem quite spontaneous and open,
you are apt to feel a definite barrier between yourself and the outside
world. In many ways you take yourself too seriously, particularly
in your concern about how you come across, what impression you are
making and how you impact others. Your orientation to life in general
is apt to be serious, possibly too much so. You are very aware of
your own flaws, and also of your duties and responsibilities. All
of this can add up to a certain heaviness which you project onto life
at times. The above description of your particular areas of difficulty
or struggle are very much on the surface for you, others see them
because you identify strongly with those very characteristics.
Saturn is Retrograde:
All of the above is complicated by the fact that
you carry a rather heavy burden of self-doubt, mistrust, or guilt
over having let yourself and others down in your past, when you struggled
(and failed) with these same issues. You now have the opportunity
to correct your course, make amends and resolve a difficult karmic
tangle, or a difficult state of mind.
Saturn Conjunct Pluto:
You have an opportunity in this lifetime to clear
away some very deep and destructive karmic patterns which are related
to ancestral and group experience as well as the personal, experiences
such as devastating loss and/or mass death. In order to release yourself
from the psychic wounds you carry, you will have to enter into the
darkest regions of humanity and your own soul. Periods of isolation
and deep loneliness, or feelings of being cut off from all external
sources of support are also a part of this pattern.
You may find yourself drawn to periods in history
that seem to touch a deep chord within you. You are drawn to times
in which cruelty, oppression, misuses and abuses of power and very
dark forces were at work, such as the Nazi holocaust, the inquisition,
witch burnings. In whatever ways you find to clear away the fears,
hatred, bitterness, and desire to retaliate or destroy, etc. that
you harbor from those times, you will be contributing to healing these
atrocities on a mass level as well. You may also carry a powerful
unconscious charge of guilt related to your own past abuses which
can lead to self destructive urges. Bringing this into a place where
forgiveness and release can happen is very important soul work for
you.
Chapter 5: The Hard Aspects
The following is a description of your MAJOR LIFE
CHALLENGES, both in terms of energies you are to learn to develop
and express in a positive way, and those which are the result of struggles
and unresolved karmic issues which you have brought into this life.
Venus Quincunx Uranus:
Both in your personal relationships and in your
personal tastes, you will feel an attraction to wildness, rebelliousness,
newness, and erratic rhythms. "Alternative" life styles
or love styles, with an emphasis on a strong need to be free, to experiment
and to be spontaneous, appeal to you. Even if, at a conscious level,
you believe you want stable and "normal" relationships,
you will be drawn to people who are inconstant, creatively unwilling
to make a commitment. You, on the other hand, may be the adventurous,
noncommittal one, or find yourself sabotaging a relationship once
it becomes steady and reliable. In some part of your life you must
feel free to experiment emotionally and creatively. Dancing or music
or some other free-flowing art form could be an outlet for this. Keeping
love alive, fresh, and surprising is an ongoing life challenge for
you.
There may well be a number of unions and separations,
unexpected disruptions in intimate relationships, and/or periods of
relatively little deep intimacy in your life: the karmic purpose of
which is for you to be able to develop independence, autonomy, and
detachment from an overdependence upon relationships. However, you
must beware of behaving selfishly, insensitively, impersonally, and
coldly in your pursuit of personal freedom.
Jupiter Quincunx Uranus:
Part of what your present incarnation is about is
being an instrument through which the "new" is given birth
into the world. You carry dreams of broad social and political change
and/or a spiritual awakening in the collective. Through your choices,
beliefs and actions, as well as your very way of being, you encourage
these positive changes in the world around you. Still, from time to
time, you are apt to have difficulties with those who are invested
in maintaining control, stability, order, convention, or the status
quo. Individualistic freedom is very important to you. You can not
or will not fit in to any formalized or closed system, be it the church,
academia, or any other group you consider rigid. Over enthusiastic
zeal can also work against you at times.
Uranus is Retrograde:
All of the above is complicated by the fact that
in prior times, you experienced great personal instability as a result
of impersonal, collective impulses toward change (during a time of
revolution, political upheaval, war, etc.). You may well have been
an agent of these movements, with a lingering inclination toward radical
solutions, extremism, flauntingly disregarding social mores. Or you
may have become a reactionary, fearing and resisting all reforms or
departures from the "main stream". It is thus difficult
for you to be balanced and fair towards any eccentricities (in others
or even in yourself). A misuse of science or technology, perhaps participating
in experiments which were harmful to you or others, is also indicated.
Thus, you may have a deep distrust of or an attraction/repulsion toward
science and technological advancement.
Pluto is Retrograde:
These issues are further complicated by the fact
that in a prior life or lives you experienced a terrible betrayal,
and may even have been tortured or put to death when you claimed power
(social, political or spiritual). You may have misused power or employed
Machiavellian strategies in which many suffered. Whether you were
a perpetrator or a victim of such abuses, deep fears were engendered
at that time, of being powerful or of people in power who would crush
you if you display your strengths. An unconscious desire for revenge
may motivate you and prevent you from healing. Letting go of this
may require deep inner work and some kind of therapeutic energetic
release of the grief you hold.
Chapter 6: Soft Aspects
The following is a description of your GIFTS and
STRENGTHS which can help you work with your major life challenges.
These are abilities and qualities of heart, mind, and soul which are
quite natural to you. You probably take them for granted. Because
these represent the lines of least resistance for you, you may rely
too much upon them at times; hence, there are some cautions suggested.
Still, these are the areas where good flows into your life and/or
where you have considerable inner resources.
Mercury Trine Saturn:
Your gifts include a mind that is clear, objective,
orderly, and disciplined. Mental concentration and focus come easily
to you, enabling you to study deeply and thoroughly any subject of
interest. You think systematically, and are patient and persistent
in following a method. You readily grasp techniques, technical details
and can assimilate a great deal of factual information and data. Learning
from and about the past and through traditional methods are other
aspects of your mental patterning. Your knowledge of how the world
works is very concrete, and you are comfortable with realistic terms.
The only potential trouble here is that you can
become too stagnant or unable to get out of a "mental groove".
Clear quartz crystals and/or sapphires are beneficial for you to wear
or carry.
Mercury Sextile Neptune:
An innate understanding of spiritual and metaphysical
principles, and a direct perception of the inner world (via intuition,
clairvoyance or clairaudience, etc.) enables you to speak of or teach
others these subjects. Your conscious mind links easily and readily
to other dimensions. This is something you probably take for granted
and it may happen without any conscious effort or intent on your part.
You are like a "cosmic radio" and you may pick up certain
vibrations and the feelings of others without realizing you are doing
so. You also have a sensitive nervous system which responds quickly
to stimuli, so you require a harmonious atmosphere in order to function
at your best.
Your psychic and/or musical, artistic, and poetic
sensibilities are pronounced due to prior development in these arenas.
Venus Conjunct Jupiter:
In your incarnational past you have enjoyed ease
and wealth, and have thus developed a taste for "the finer things",
and a certain level of comfort and material well-being. You expect
to be well provided for, and will attract prosperity quite easily.
However, you may also take much for granted or be disinclined to put
yourself out very much. If you can avoid the "spoiled prince"
or "spoiled princess" attitude, your more golden qualities
will help you create a satisfying life for yourself. These personal
attributes include generosity, friendliness, givingness, tolerance,
and the ability to make others feel comfortable, accepted, and good
about themselves. Humor and a light touch are also among your gifts.
An appreciation for beauty and culture is well developed
in you also; and you could be a sponsor and supporter of the arts
in your community.
Saturn Sextile Neptune:
You have distilled wisdom through the disciplines
and willing sacrifices you have made in your incarnational past. Now,
it is relatively easy for you to appreciate simplicity and to enjoy
the peace of mind that comes from detachment from too many material
"needs" and wants. You have also developed the capacity
to accept discipline, personal sacrifice, and self-denial as an intrinsic
part of attaining meaningful goals. Accepting limitation and imperfection
as unavoidable aspects of life, you pursue your ideals and dreams
without either being naive and foolishly optimistic, or giving up
on them entirely. This balance of practicality and idealisms is a
true gift, though one that you may easily overlook in yourself since
it is not very glamorous or "special".
Neptune Sextile Pluto:
Collectively, this is a time in history that enables
you and those of your generation to advance spiritually through a
heightened awareness of the invisible and intangible realms. A rebirth
of spirituality through direct contact with higher forces is occurring
in this generation. This contact takes many, many forms, including
a compelling interest in life beyond death. You may or may not have
a personal involvement with this, as it is a group karma rather than
a primarily personal one.

Introduction to Karmic Astrology
The effects of past life experiences can carry over
into your current life, accounting for interests, habits, even phobias
which would defy explanation by conventional methods.
This report examines possible past life connections
using astrological methods. It is not intended to be taken as a complete
interpretation of your birth chart; it looks at your chart from only
one perspective.
It is written in simple language, avoiding the use
of astrological terms as much as possible. For the interest of students
of astrology, relevant astrological references are made at the top
of each section.
There are certain factors which indicate a need
to seek further answers through past life regression. If you find
reference to this within your chart, you may discover that your spiritual
growth will be enhanced by using this method. (Note: Individuals with
a number of these indicators in the chart have probably already experienced
spontaneous regressions.)
Not all charts will indicate a need for regressions.
If your report does not indicate such a need, then it is most likely
that discovering your past lives through regression is of little interest
to you this time around.
Chapter 1: Most Important Prior Life Experiences
In traditional astrology, the Twelfth House represents
your self-undoing, hidden matters and the subconscious process. It
is believed that we carry karmic memories in our subconscious, and
that these subconscious memories can undermine our current life efforts.
When we remove the walls created by subconscious
fears and guilt, we find that the path to personal transformation
lies beyond.
If, in your chapter you find a number of descriptions
of planets placed in your twelfth house, consider exploring your hidden
self through past life regression.
12th house cusp in Virgo
You hide your ability to see every detail, preferring
to appear scattered and vacillating. Trivial matters worry you and
excess concern could result in nervous disorders.
Look for a significant prior lifetime in a detail-oriented
endeavor. Possible areas of past life experience could include being
a librarian, accountant, statistician, tax collector or technical
writer.
Virgo 12th House, Virgo Rising
You are meticulous in every endeavor. Others see
you as being practical and organized, paying attention to the smallest
detail. You need to learn that not everyone is as concerned with perfection
as you.
Moon in 12th House
Prior life experiences may have included difficulties
with childbirth, motherhood or abandonment of children. You may have
been overly protective of children to the extent that you drove them
away. This life may bring difficulties in fertility, mother-child
relationships, or a general mistrust of women.
KARMIC LESSON: Emotional security comes from accepting
those around you as capable human beings. Learn to balance feminine
and masculine principles.
Neptune in 12th House
You were very psychic and sensitive in a previous
life, so much that it clouded your ability to face the material world.
Drug or alcohol abuse, schizophrenia or withdrawal into a fantasy
world may have been part of this pattern. This lifetime, you deny
any psychic gifts and avoid your sensitive nature for fear that you
will again lose touch with reality. You are very controlled, holding
friendships at bay and extending your compassion to groups instead
of individuals.
KARMIC LESSON: Journey inward (through meditation,
imagery or therapy) to find and connect with your inner child. Experience
that innocence, purity and unconditional love again and draw your
strength from it.
Chapter 2: Saturn (The Great Teacher)
The source of many of our self-imposed restrictions
can be found in the placement of the planet Saturn. The location of
Saturn in a horoscope represents the area of life where we have to
learn the greatest lessons. It is through these lessons that we grow
and improve.
Just like your least liked teacher in school, Saturn's
lessons require hard work and self-discipline. And like the lessons
from that teacher, Saturn's lessons are not easily forgotten. The
lessons you learn help you to find order and security in your current
life.
When a lesson from a prior life was not learned,
you can experience inexplicable guilt or self-restriction. Exploration
of the unlearned lessons of Saturn can free you to use all of your
natural talents.
Saturn in 5th House
Creativity and self-expression do not come easily
to you. You find romantic encounters unsatisfying. Children or the
ability to procreate can be a source of considerable disappointment.
Difficult childbirth, guilt from feeling responsible
for a child's distress, or frustrations in a creative endeavor in
that prior life could be the root cause of your current blockage.
On the positive side, you are able to apply discipline
in your current life to your creative endeavors. On the negative side,
you may still avoid any creative expression, out of fear of disapproval
or rejection.
When you learn the reason for your blocks in this
lifetime, you can open up your creative energies and use the talents
which have been brought forth from your previous life.
Saturn Sextile Mars:
Your sense of duty and responsibility in prior lifetimes
enabled you to survive tedious jobs. In this lifetime, you still have
a knack for detail work. You are organized, and meticulous in everything
that you do. You are responsible at work and at home. In social situations,
you are a little reserved.
Saturn Sextile Uranus:
You are able to remain calm in critical situations.
In prior lives you survived chaos, revolutions and natural disasters.
These past life memories can make your current life seem tranquil
in comparison. You are capable of enduring very tense situations for
a long time. You are persistent in your quest for knowledge, giving
you natural teaching abilities. Take care with your physical well-being
when under stress for prolonged periods of time.
Chapter 3: Jupiter (Your Karmic Gifts)
Personal karma is not necessarily negative. You
bring to this life certain talents and interest which enable you to
expand your horizons. Often overlooked for its karmic value, the placement
of the planet Jupiter in your chart can tell you about your karmic
gifts.
Jupiter describes spiritual rewards as well as the
area of your current life where you may experience material gains.
The lesson of Jupiter is best described as the acceptance
of the law of karma. The rewards you reap in this life time come from
your prior life's good deeds, and your future benefits (this life
or another) are the rewards of your present fair dealings and generosity.
Jupiter in Libra
Fairness, justice and social harmony are your goals
brought over from a prior life.
You are generous with your considerations of others'
needs, so you are well-liked. An ideal marriage for you would be with
someone who shares you sense of social justice. Your prior life spent
promoting justice and morality is expressed by your interest in religious
charities, educational foundations and concern for the socially disadvantaged.
Jupiter in 1st House
You are optimistic, sociable and honest. You have
a belief in divine Providence which for you does work, and you are
seen as a fortunate person. Your prior life as a social, educational
or spiritual leader has influenced your self-image in this life.
Jupiter Opposition Mercury:
In a prior life, verbal indiscretions undermined
your self-esteem. This time, you may have a tendency to "put
your foot in your mouth" while attempting to impress others with
your verbal skills. Learn to laugh at your mistakes. Attempts to hide
your errors can compound them with larger ones.
Chapter 4: Nodes of the Moon (Your Karmic Doorways)
The point on a horoscope chart called the North
Node of the Moon is not actually a planet, but can be thought of as
a doorway from your current life to your future. And, its opposite
point (the South Node of the Moon) can be thought of as a doorway
from your past life to your current one.
These two sensitive points can show you what goals
you are concerned with in this life and what habits from prior lives
are holding you back from reaching those goals.
North Node of the Moon in Aquarius
Prestige and class distinction dominated your interests
during past lives. You took on the role of protector and benevolent
dictator in all your relationships.
Your involvement in any undertaking adopted a romantic
or dramatic air. You took any slight against your work, family or
possessions as a personal affront, with your pride, dignity and ego
assaulted. Any person foolish enough to make such a slight would cease
to be recognized.
Possible prior lifetimes include being a member
of the aristocracy, head of a family business, actor, theatrical entrepreneur
or politician.
In this lifetime, you are still seeking recognition
and glory, and the memories of your proud stature gives you a dignified
manner. You detest pettiness.
Although these qualities are not essentially bad,
they can hold you back from achieving your purpose in this lifetime.
In order to maintain the balance between your two
karmic doorways, you need to set aside your proud nature and work
to advance our civilization. For you the time for personal glory is
gone and you need to use your leadership skills for the betterment
of others. Your ideas may not be in the mainstream, but you can help
humanity forge ahead into the New Age.
Chapter 5: Planets in Retrograde (Reversed Energies)
Planets in a horoscope chart which are marked as
being in retrograde motion, hide or reverse the true energy of that
planet.
From a perspective of past life experiences, this
usually means that some experience in a prior lifetime was so negative
that the individual refuses to use that planetary energy in any manner.
Jupiter Retrograde
You are concerned with growth and expansion, but
find it difficult to achieve. Success or luck may elude you.
In a prior life, you may have refused to change
with the times, holding on to outmoded ideas and ideals. In each life,
you learn lessons and grow. Since you chose not to make changes in
one life, it is necessary for you to go through the lessons of that
life again.
Your lesson in this lifetime is to determine which
opportunities offered to you will create the greatest amount of personal
(inner) growth and expansion. When you make your changes, success
will occur on the outside as well.
Neptune Retrograde
Sometimes you find it difficult to determine what
is real and what is not. You have a vivid imagination and you find
comfort in your daydreaming and fantasy. Although it may not be recognized
as such, you have a psychic gift.
In a prior life, you may have used illusion and
delusion to take undue advantage of others. You were attracted to
things psychic and may have even represented yourself as a medium
or even as a magician. In this lifetime, you are still drawn to psychic
and occult matters.
Your lesson in this lifetime, is to develop your
real spiritual side. You may decide to use your psychic gifts for
personal gain. If you do so, use them honestly, avoiding deception
of others at all costs.
