The interpretation of your astrology chart
begins on the following page.
You will find that the interpretation
of your chart is written in simple language, uncluttered by astrological
jargon. If a statement appears to contradict another statement,
then you exhibit these opposite qualities at different times in
your life. For example, a statement that you are highly sociable
and gregarious and a statement that you prefer solitude seemingly
contradict each other; this means that you vacillate, and need
both sociability and solitude at different times.
The astrological factor that the interpretation
is based on is also given. The astrological factor is given for
the benefit of astrologers and students of astrology. If you are
not a student of astrology, then obviously the factor will not be
meaningful to you, and you can ignore it.
If you find this interpretation of your
birth chart interesting and informative, you might want to discuss
your birth chart with a professional astrologer to learn more about
the astrological influences on your life.

Chapter 1: General Characteristics
Your
fundamental needs, values, and orientation towards life are symbolized
by the four astrological elements. Each person has their own unique
balance of these four basic energies: fire (warmth, inspiration, enthusiasm),
earth (practicality, realism, material interests), air (social and intellectual
qualities), and water (emotional needs and feelings).
Your "elemental make-up" is described below.
Remember that most people are "unbalanced" or lopsided, and if you are
lacking or deficient in a certain element (or elements), it simply means
that you need to consciously develop that aspect of yourself to learn
to appreciate and/or to work harder in that dimension of life.
Sometimes we overvalue the element that we are
least endowed with, sensing it as a lack within ourselves, but more
often we neglect or ignore it. The qualities described below will be
reiterated and explained in more detail in the following chapters.
You have two strong impulses which are somewhat
at odds with one another but when blended can be highly creative and
productive. On the one hand, there is the dreamer, the gambler, the
idealist, the optimist who is full of hopeful confidence, spark, and
creative energy. This is the side of you that believes in magic and
extraordinary possibilities. Equally strong, however, is the conservative,
practical, adult side which seeks security and stability, and which
needs to be productive in a concrete way.
Having both of these urges can lead to some
internal predicaments, such as: Should I take the safe, well traveled
path which offers me security or one which is unpredictable but which
offers more freedom and adventure? Is there a way for me to live my
dreams rather than simply wish and hope and fantasize about them? Can
I bring my dreams to fruition without compromising too much for the
sake of the market place? Can I be an idealist who is effective in the
everyday mundane world? How can I express myself freely as an individual,
while also being responsible and taking care of practical obligations
and necessities? Should I be generous, or careful and conservative?
Should I play (and be more of a child) or work?
If you give up one side of the equation (for
instance, opting for security at the expense of your creativity or your
ideals, or choosing to spend most of your time playing and enjoying
your own creative pursuits without making any tangible contribution
to the world), you will feel unbalanced and unhappy.
Your challenge is to learn to somehow have the
best of both worlds - to have an inspiration or ideal to aim for and
to do something tangible with it. Or, put another way, to bring play
and creativity and passion into your work. Your initiative, confidence
and faith combined with your practicality would make you quite successful
in business especially one of your own.
You tend to lack the ability to analyze yourself
or your life in a detached, objective way. You feel and experience but
do not necessarily understand or reflect upon your experience, and thus
find it hard to communicate or talk about it. Really taking in what
someone else has to say can be hard for you - you do not readily adapt
to new ideas or people, and as a result may become inflexible or limit
your experience of life. A broadening education and exposure to different
cultures and types of people is very beneficial to you. Otherwise you
are apt to be rigid and even prejudiced against those outside your own
circle. (Arthritic conditions, poor flexibility, or poor circulation
may reflect this).
You learn much more readily by watching, doing,
or apprenticing than by reading or by being told about something.
As you will read in the following chapter on
how you meet the world, you initially seem rather sensitive and reserved
- but you are actually quite a powerhouse with the capacity to direct
your great vitality and enthusiasm into concrete channels, and thus
achieve great things.

Chapter 2: How You Approach Life and How You Appear To Others
The following is a description of your basic
stance towards life, the way others see you, the way you come across,
the face you show to the world. In Chapter 3 you will read about the
"The Inner You: Your Real Motivation", which describes the kind of person
you are at heart and where your true priorities lie. Read this chapter
and the next one and compare them - there may be significant differences
between them, in which case "the inner you" may not shine through and
others are in for some surprises when they get to know you at a more
than superficial level. This chapter describes the costume you wear,
your role in life, while Chapter 3 talks about the real person inside
the costume.
You are very strong-willed and proud, but intensely
private and not easy to know well. Behind your quiet exterior lies a
great deal of emotional depth, sensitivity, complexity, and also fierce
determination. When you want something you go after it rather quietly
but insistently and wholeheartedly - and you usually get it.
You are not a person who lives lightly or superficially.
You want to live passionately and intensely and are not averse
to challenge, danger, or to facing the darker side of life - human pain
and struggle. You function well in crisis situations and often seek
them out, for you enjoy the feeling of living at full capacity.
You are very intuitive about other people and
especially about their unspoken feelings and hidden motives. You usually
have strong, immediate gut reactions, either positive or negative, which
prove to be correct. You approach life very instinctively and are not
always fully conscious of why you feel or act as you do. You also have
a very strong affinity with animals - an acute sensitivity and a nonverbal
kind of rapport with them.
In relation to others, you are rather cautious,
sometimes even suspicious, until you get to know and trust them - and
trust doesn't come easily to you. When you commit yourself emotionally
to someone, be it friend or lover, you are intensely loyal and devoted
to them and you also expect the same kind of unwavering, undying loyalty
in return. If you are ever betrayed by someone you care deeply for,
you are capable of hating and retaliating with as much fervor as you
once loved. Nothing is done halfway. In fact, you are intensely involved
and often jealously attached to whatever you care about, be it person,
idea, or cause. There is definitely a streak of emotional fanaticism
in you.
Because of your natural reserve, others may
see you as something of an enigma. You are quite self-protective and
often defensive. You are also very magnetic, especially to members of
the opposite sex.
You may come across a bit scattered, nervous,
or restless, as if you can't sit still. You seem alert and quick, but
sometimes a bit on edge. You tend to stay perpetually busy, and would
find handiwork of some kind to be soothing.
You have a rather generous, open, broad-minded
demeanor, and you like to do things in a big way. If you do this primarily
to impress others, you will find that many people prefer to avoid you.
Even without meaning to, you can seem a bit arrogant or preachy.
You have an appealing physical appearance
and this, along with your winning ways, is apt to make you a favorite
in your immediate environment. You're the "easy" one, and you know how
to please others. Don't take your personal charm for granted, however,
because you may also seem vain or too needy for approval.
Others may see you as a cool, reserved and unapproachable
person, perhaps as a result of your conservative and stern upbringing.
You could feel that no one understands you and tend to isolate yourself
from others.
You have good organizing ability and know how
to arrange everything skillfully. Happy in team-work and adept in negotiating,
you can lead successful business meetings. You can easily obtain all
the information you need in order to make the best deal.
You are very sociable, have a harmonious disposition,
and are able to have a happy relationship with people in your environment.
Your eternal optimism brings you the affinity of many people with whom
you will have many joyful experiences.

Chapter 3: The Inner You: Your Real Motivation
Although you come across as a very private,
somewhat wary and enigmatic individual (as described in the previous
chapter), there is another, quite different side to you: a person that
really wants to be noticed, known, loved and admired.
Proud and intensely individual, you really want
to stand out, to be the very best you can be, and to be recognized and
appreciated for your unique contributions. Doing something well and
being respected for it is extremely important to you, and you cannot
tolerate being in the background, taking orders from others, or being
"just one of the team". You must put your personal stamp on whatever
you do, and direct your own course in life. You need to have a place
where you can shine, express yourself creatively, and be the one in
charge.
You have big dreams and the determination, spirit,
vitality, and enthusiasm to bring them into being. You also have a noble,
romantic heart, and a love of the dramatic, colorful, and extravagant.
For you it is true that "all the world's a stage"
and you secretly (or perhaps not so secretly) desire to be the Star
or Hero in the play. You want to be great, and to receive the love and
applause of an adoring audience, even if the "audience" is just one
other special person. You need someone to believe in you and your dreams.
Though you appear radiantly self-confident and independent, you are
actually very much dependent on the affirmation, love, and recognition
of others. You cannot bear being unnoticed or unappreciated.
You also love wholeheartedly and generously
and really know how to make the person you love feel special. You love
the magic of "being in love" and know how to keep the romance alive
in your relationships. You are also immensely loyal and will defend
your loved ones and stand by them to the end - as long as they never
offend your pride or betray your trust. However, you like to be the
strong one in a relationship and you really do not share the leading
role very easily. Ideally you need to find a person who is as strong-willed
as yourself, but who will not try to dominate or compete with you.
Your strengths are your zest and love for life,
your creative power, and your warm and generous heart. Your primary
fault is your tendency to be very egocentric, so concerned with the
impression you are making and with your own creative self-expression
that you forget there is another, larger world that does not revolve
around you.
Your career, reputation, and public image
are very important to you. You have a strong desire to be influential
or make your mark on the world. The merely personal sphere does not
satisfy you; your ambitions include making a major contribution and
receiving broad recognition for your unique effort and gifts. You may
undervalue the personal or inner side of life.
You are extremely sensitive and imaginative,
and you can get lost in your dreams, fantasies, and visions. You are
attracted to artistic and creative pursuits, the world of color, beauty,
and emotion. You are also drawn to mysticism and have deep spiritual
aspirations and yearnings. Gentle and peace-loving, you may lack the
will and competitive spirit needed to make your way in the world. You
are often impractical and may seek to avoid or escape the hard realities
of life.
You may be a bit high-strung and over-zealous
in the pursuit of your endeavors. You always seem to be in a hurry and
have the ability to evaluate situations quickly. You have a brilliant
mind and possibly could invent something.
Both sensitive and sensuous, you blend charm
and energy. You have a healthy sexuality and a good balance between
activity and passivity. You may be fond of singing, dancing, music and
drama. Romance comes easily to you, and your romantic relationships
are passionate.

Chapter 4: Mental Interests and Abilities
You are a person of strong opinions and you
express your views energetically and often dramatically. You are an
entertaining speaker and will embellish or exaggerate in order to get
your point across. You have an aptitude for storytelling and performing.
Even if your arena is only the classroom or dining room table, you put
on a good show. You have an abundance of creative ideas and do not enjoy
a job in which you have no creative input or voice in decision-making.
You could be a good politician, spokesperson, group leader, director,
or coach.
You have an unquenchable thirst for knowledge
and wisdom and for an ever broadening understanding of life. You are
the perpetual student and will be involved in higher education, philosophy,
or religion. Law, broadcasting, publishing, or the field of communications
are also areas that interest you. World travel and studying other cultures
are also strong urges of yours.
You have talent for establishing rapport
and communicating with people, great personnel skills, and you are adept
at dealing with the public. You communicate concern, interest, and the
ability to listen, which encourages people to open up and confide in
you even if they do not know you well. You create closeness with others
by talking to them (even gossiping will do), or by writing intimate,
personal letters. Women feel you understand them.
You have a very restless and curious mind, and
an endless thirst for knowledge, information, learning, or at the very
least, mental stimulation. Intellectually, you like to cover a lot of
ground, to see the big picture and grasp the overall concepts. You naturally
seek to discover how all of the small pieces fit together in some grand
pattern, and what it all means. Details, technical precision, and the
practical working-out of your theories or insights are not really your
concern. Your "broad brush strokes" approach can be a bit sloppy.
The study of Universal Law, religion, philosophy,
or other fields which are primarily abstract and conceptual appeal to
you. Broadcasting, publishing, communicating to large groups of people,
and teaching are all very suitable for you. When you have enthusiasm
for an idea it is very hard for you keep it to yourself. There is a
bit of the evangelist in you.

Chapter 5: Emotions: Moods, Feelings, Romance
Even-tempered and peace-loving, you are not
easily ruffled and are rarely given to emotional displays. You have
a calming effect on more high-strung or volatile people, and an emotional
steadiness that others find soothing. Though gentle and not easily provoked,
you are tremendously stubborn and will resist any change which requires
an emotional adjustment, such as changes in your home life or marriage.
You seek security and loyalty in love, are extremely
devoted to your loved ones, and provide a warm, nurturing atmosphere
for them. However, you tend to cling and seek to keep others from changing.
A great deal of physical affection, closeness,
and touching is essential to your well-being, and you have a tendency
to overindulge in sensual comforts and pleasures. At times you substitute
food for emotional comfort and love.
You depend a great deal upon other people
for emotional support and you have a large "family" of friends that
care about you and treat you as kin. The women in your life are particularly
important to you, and your relationship with them powerfully influences
your sense of security and happiness. You may be overly dependent and
unsure of yourself without a close partner.
You are easygoing, agreeable, and tolerant,
willing to overlook others' mistakes, forget the past, and begin again
on a positive note. You enjoy making others comfortable and happy, and
sometimes overdo your generosity. You often feel that "everything will
turn out all right no matter what I do", and so become lazy and lackadaisical.
There is another side to you as well, a rather
introverted, self-contained, even pessimistic side which tempers your
good cheer and generosity, as discussed below.
You have an inner poise and balance that enables
you to act in a cool, efficient manner during emotional traumas and
stress. You keep perspective and objectivity about highly charged emotional
issues - sometimes to the chagrin of others who might wish that you
would react more intensely. You are quietly supportive and faithful
to your friends and loved ones.
In addition to your rather introverted, serious,
or self-contained side, you have a wild streak and urge for emotional
freedom that breaks through erratically. You crave both stability and
excitement, and the conflict between these two impulses can make you
rather tense and irritable. However, they can also balance one another.
Your more free and unpredictable side will now be described.
You crave excitement, change, and discovery,
and cannot tolerate a routine or lifestyle that offers little in the
way of surprise or challenge. Excitable, spontaneous, and enthusiastic
about anything new, you may be perceived by others as being too impulsive,
especially in personal relationships. It is not easy for you to make
or keep commitments, since you don't know how you will be feeling from
one day to the next. Emotional freedom is very important to you. Your
domestic life can be very unstable -but you like it that way.
Sensitive and sentimental, you are deeply attached
to your family, old friends, familiar places, and the past. You are
romantic and tender in love, and the remembrance of birthdays, anniversaries,
family rituals, and other days of personal significance is very important
to you. You seek caring, emotional support, and security in love. You
like to be needed, to cherish and protect your loved ones, and you are
somewhat possessive of them.
You crave very intense, deep, emotional
relationships, and would even prefer a stormy, tumultuous relationship
to one which is smooth but lacking vitality and passion. You love wholeheartedly
and expect all-consuming, total devotion and attention from your partner.
Casual, light relationships hold no appeal for you.
Your tastes and natural inclinations run toward
the extravagant and luxurious. Whether or not you possess the resources
to satisfy these desires or the ambition to provide these things for
yourself, you want a life with plenty, ease, and comfort. You may cause
trouble in your love life by focusing too much attention on money or
"lifestyle" rather than on the person you are with. You may also attract
gold diggers or parasites who will take advantage of your hospitality
as long as you allow them to. Indiscretion in matters of both heart
and pocketbook can be problems as well.
You think with both your mind and your heart
and have an unobtrusive, empathic intellect. You relate to others in
an affable, considerate and thoughtful way and always seem to find the
right words at the right time.
You are considerate and compassionate and have
an innate understanding of the wants and needs of people in general.
You probably will have many pleasant and friendly relationships and
your attachment to others is likely to be very deep.

Chapter 6: Drive and Ambition: How You Achieve Your Goals
You are a perfectionist and have high standards
for your own work. You often feel that if you want something done right
you must do it yourself, for others do not do as thorough a job as you
do. Doing a task well is very important to you, and you may labor over
minute details that others wouldn't bother with. You strive for accuracy,
efficiency, and precision, and you become very irritable when things
are not done "right".
On the other hand, you can become so much of
a perfectionist and so self-critical that you will not even attempt
many activities and projects, feeling that your efforts simply won't
be good enough. You are usually modest and realistic in assessing what
you can accomplish and, if anything, you underestimate yourself. Of
course, practice makes perfect, and if you do apply yourself diligently
in some area, you gradually gain self-confidence as you master skills
and develop expertise.
You conserve your energy and pace
yourself so that you do not waste or diffuse your efforts. An unwillingness
to take risks or venture from the beaten track can sometimes limit your
opportunities. In short, you may not aim high enough and settle for
too little in life.
You are a team player and work well in
collaboration with others who share your goals, ideals, and intentions.
You can coordinate group efforts and inspire people to work toward a
shared goal.
Team sports are also a lot of fun for
you, and you could be a leader, coach, or director of any group endeavor.
You possess the gifts of endurance and perseverance,
the willingness to work hard and seriously to achieve your objectives.
Once you decide you want something or make a commitment, you'll do it
"even if it takes forever". Self-discipline is natural to you and you
instinctively realize that any creative achievement is "10% inspiration,
90% perspiration". You choose practical, realistic goals and pursue
them step-by-step in a well-planned, orderly way. You like to concentrate
on one thing at a time and do a thorough job. You enjoy working in solitude,
and often feel your best work is done when you are alone.
You are industrious and diligent and have the
power to establish yourself in the world. You are very ambitious and
tend to strive for public recognition. Although you may not be looking
for trouble, you also could easily get into disputes or quarrels.
Language, words, communication, networking,
clarity of speech or writing, being a messenger or go-between -- these
are key features in your career, as well as how you go about achieving
your goals and ambitions. "Work smarter, not harder" is your motto.
You may not feel like you have to work
very hard or strive to achieve, either because you come from a very
comfortable background, or because inner contentment and satisfaction
are more important to you than outward accomplishment. You could be
quite successful in real estate, agriculture, or anything involving
land.
Your profession is apt to be related to
children, women, consulting, nourishing, or to the use of your nurturing,
emotional, childlike qualities in appealing to the public in some way.
You do well in any business that involves responding to people's emotional
needs and tastes.
You are inclined to deem yourself irresistible
and could give the impression of being a bit snobbish. You tend to concentrate
mostly on yourself and expect others to adapt to your wishes. Very creative,
you also strive to be the best artistically.

Chapter 7: Growth and Expansion: Areas That You Enjoy
Your strength lies in your ability to
be innovative, open to new progressive concepts, willing to experiment
and to reject customs and traditions when they cease to serve any positive
function in the present. Also, you have an expansive view of the world,
one that includes humanity and not only your own small, personal circle.
You have a great love of learning and
an eager, curious, active mind which impels you to travel and see as
much of the world as possible. You read widely, and may excel academically.
You love being in a teacher-student relationship and may stay in school
for many years, prolonging your studies for as long as possible! You
also communicate well and would be an effective, inspiring teacher.
Public relations or any field involving
communications and sharing information also suits you very well.
You have the ability to be happy and are aware
of your good fortune. Optimistic in outlook and thinking a lot, you
find it easy to acquire self-knowledge. You love to learn new things
and are always ready to increase your capacity for learning.

Chapter 8: Areas That Challenge You Or Are Difficult For You
You have a great capacity for self-denial
in the pursuit of a long-range goal. You are capable of hard work and
persistent labor, but you may lack joyfulness and the ability to play.
You often feel burdened by life's demands and responsibilities, and
may envy those who seem to attract what they want in life without a
great deal of personal effort.
There is a very judgmental, stern, and
uncompromising side of yourself which may inhibit you a great deal.
You must avoid becoming heavy and cynical, or becoming a rather callous,
sophisticated adult whose practicality and realism squeeze out the playful,
imaginative side of life.
You are serious-minded and may have difficulty
making light social conversation or participating in friendly, personal
interchanges.
You try to be strictly accurate and are
critical of people who exaggerate or talk on subjects they really know
little about. You withhold your thoughts and opinions until you have
thought everything through quite thoroughly, and sometimes your silence
discomforts others.
Your mental concentration is very good
but your breadth of understanding may not be.
Your aspirations and dreams are always
tempered by realism and practical considerations. You pursue your aims
in a systematic, disciplined, and thorough manner, and you are willing
to take your time, advancing slowly and steadily on your way to your
goal.
Sometimes you underestimate what is possible,
and hold yourself back unnecessarily due to a lack of faith or an overly
cautious attitude.
The side of you that wants and needs structure,
order, stability, and a disciplined way of life is at odds with your
urges for unfettered freedom, change, excitement, and discovery. There
is apt to be much discontent, inner stress, and tension due to this,
and at times you find it hard to relax. You may act out in a rebellious
way now and then, or clamp down hard on yourself, in an attempt to strictly
control your "wild" impulses. Your task is to try to find a reasonable
balance between order and creative chaos in your life.
You have a tendency to be too critical of yourself.
You may be plagued by feelings of guilt about some past events, leading
to further self-doubt. You must learn to handle your frustration, depression
and discontentment and try to overcome your lack of self-confidence.
Now we will discuss patterns of behavior which
you instinctively and habitually revert to when under stress - a mostly
unconscious process and one which you are apt to overdo because it is
so familiar and thus easy for you. The direction you need to follow
in order to develop balance, greater awareness, and wholeness is also
described.
Your path lies in developing yourself as an
individual, discovering your own strengths and joys, giving expression
to your uniqueness, and letting yourself shine and stand out from the
crowd. This involve becoming a leader, even though your instinct is
actually to be "one of the Indians" rather than the "chief". When under
stress you are apt to seek safety in numbers, to go along with the group.
Also, you may believe that striving to do your personal best and to
excel is wrong or selfish, but you should let go of this notion. Finding
your own center and doing what gives you delight and energy is the most
worthwhile contribution you can offer the world at large.
The arena you are most likely to wrestle with
these issues is in your public life and career. All of these issues
will impact your reputation and standing in your community or professional
circle, as well as how you achieve your important life goals and aspirations.
The following are specific activities that will
support you in your growth. These may or may not feel natural to you,
and often there is some feeling of resistance or initial awkwardness
about doing these things, but they are important on your path to wholeness.
Become more freethinking, be willing to experiment
and change, loosen your attachment to tradition and the known to allow
new developments to occur. Learn and get involved in an area where new
techniques, rapid changes and innovation is happening. Be one of the
avant-garde who is promoting such changes, whether this is in science,
music, or social relationships. You have to be willing to be different
and perhaps considered eccentric or odd.
Your conversations with others tend to be lively
and productive but also could easily turn into arguments. The subject
of your discussions is likely to be about working on and incorporating
educational matters.
You have a strong desire to acquire a leading
position in your community. Although you are very capable of assuming
leadership, you also have a tendency to impose your will upon others.
But in spite of that, you are likely to be successful.

Chapter 9: Originality and Imagination
Areas Where You Are Creative, Unique, Unstable, or Compulsive
You are likely to have a career that is
highly unusual or that somehow challenges the mainstream of society
and the status quo. Being an instrument for progressive change in the
world is your role, whether in a humble or grand manner. You need to
shake things up wherever you are. You also may change careers, life
direction, and your long range goals many times in your life.
You are yielding, gentle, and impressionable.
You tend to "melt" into your surroundings, and do not make a very powerful,
vivid impression on others. Especially while young, you may not have
a very clear sense of identity.
Sensitive and compassionate, you do not
enjoy fighting and no matter what you profess, you are a pacifist at
heart.
You may have a deep aversion to groups,
associations, clubs, or organizations of any kind. Any such group you
become involved in is likely to be either for intense personal growth,
change, and healing, or centered around social change and revising society
in some manner.
You have a great need to make changes in your
life and to break away from circumstances that hold you back. You are
not likely to be very patient and feel that you know what is best. You
tend to force yourself to work until physical exhaustion.

Chapter 10: Generational Influences: Your Age Group
In this chapter we will discuss characteristics
and traits of your generation. Of course, you may not share all of the
characteristics of your generation, but you are greatly affected by
the tone that is set by your generation.
The first topic is "The Subconscious and Emotional
Drive of Your Age Group". In this section we will describe a deeply
felt urge, even compulsion, of your age group. This deeply felt drive
comes to the surface with great force and power, and consequently leaves
in its wake considerable upheaval and change. The second topic is "The
Ideals and Illusions of Your Age Group", that describes the dreams,
fantasies, and spiritual aspirations of your age group. The third and
last topic is "What is New and Different in Your Age Group", which describes
areas in which your age group tends to be innovative, inventive, unusual,
and also where it may be unstable and unreliable.
The characteristics described below may affect
a group of people for anywhere from a few years to about 30 years. There
are one or more different astrological factors described in each of
the three sections below.
The Subconscious and Emotional Drive of Your Age Group
You are part of a 15 year group of people that
are driven by the need to find an ethical standard and a clear sense
of what is right and what is wrong. There is a subconscious drive to
straighten out all the world's evils and create a world of perfect order.
There is a feeling of repulsion to anything ugly, dirty, or grotesque.
Oddly enough, there is also often a fascination with these very things
that are so distasteful, and often a feeling of hopelessness and despair
about the world's condition.
These inner, emotional and conflicting qualities
are reflected in the attitudes and life styles of your generation. Most
people of your age group are conservative and ethical, and a small minority
goes to the opposite extreme and relishes being strange or unusual in
appearance, and sloppy or even grotesque in manners and appearance.
There seems to be no middle ground for your generation. Usually, the
rebellious type of behavior comes out during adolescence, and tends
to subside thereafter, and your age group tends to be very conservative
in later life.
Your age group is not very good at compromising
and tends to have strong ideas about what is right and what is wrong.
There is a strong feeling that you must extinguish evil in the world.
Certainly, fostering good works is very commendable, but a categorical
and simple-minded response to complex issues is not helpful. Your age
group will undergo great transformations in attitudes regarding Good
and Evil and will swing to great extremes. Your generation will also
make great contributions in the areas of medicine and nutrition, ecology,
and education.
The Ideals and Illusions of Your Age Group
You are part of a 14 year group of people that
have very intense psychic sensitivity and imagination. Your age group
is very attracted to the strange, weird, and unusual. The sense of the
macabre and bizarre is strong, and this is reflected in much of the
music, art, and fashions of your age group. Novels and movies with mystery
and chilling suspense are also popular with your age group. Emotional
depression, drug use, and suicide are likely to be relatively high in
your age group. There is also a deep mystical sense, and Eastern religions
and meditation are very attractive to your age group.
The entire generation to which you belong
has tremendous opportunities for spiritual rebirth and awakening. This
will not be forced upon you or precipitated by unavoidable events, rather
it comes from an inner yearning and a natural propensity to seek the
depths.
What is New and Different in Your Age Group
You are part of a 7 year group of people who
are unusually self-willed, proud, and egotistical. You are a group that
defies authority and insists on having its own way. Parents and school
teachers found that it was extremely difficult to discipline your age
group. Governments that are repressive to individual expression and
freedom meet a great deal of resistance from your age group, and you
tend to rise up against any form of tyranny and oppressive rule.
